2025-05-05 17:19:10 +0000 UTCyesss its been shown time and time again that you cannot spend time with luffy and NOT come away thinking that hes a good person like. its one of his greatest strengths as a person but also as a fictional character: you cant NOT love luffy i feel like. hes just so incredibly honest and genuine, how could you ever look at this man and think "meh i dont like him". i mean maybe thats also just me absolutely loving him as a character since i was like 11 years old in the mid 2000s but still! i feel like im right lmao

When you said at the beginning of the episode that it still feels awkward despite 2 years of doing these reactions, it really took me back. I started watching you with the OP Live action reactions and enjoyed them immensely. I then worked through all your Attack on Titan reactions despite swearing to myself not to revisit that show for a few years (it takes an emotional toll...). When you started the OP anime, I remember being hesitant about watching the reactions because you would have SO MUCH GROUND to cover. It was part of the reason I hesitated with starting this show as I'm sure many others have. But wow, has time flown. Look how far you guys are into the show! Think about everything that's happened! Thank you for helping me re-experience this show "with" you and I hope you've been enjoying your time as "reactors".

Even if in the first moment Oda didn't had clear on his mind what that power was, it's so cool that que takes this long to really start to talk about it, and construct the idea of a power that is SO important in one piece

2025-04-14 18:53:03 +0000 UTCHaki may seem a bit out of the blue (it did to me if I'm honest) and I don't know how early on Oda thought of it and how much he had thought it out (maybe there is an SBS I'm not aware of...), but haki is such a necessary addition to the power system if you think about it, that Oda had to have at least the basic idea up his sleeve from the get go.
