The same for me. With youtube i can choose 1080p and stick with it. With patreon idk why but the "auto" quality drops everytime, it's a struggle to watch :(

2025-03-16 22:00:25 +0000 UTCI maybe prefer YouTube, but only for the silly reason that I can't see the progress bar on the Patreon player so it's tricky to jump back when I want to watch something again. It's a tiny, nearly insignificant thing but that's the only difference for me. I'm certainly not going to stop watching if you choose Patreon.
