They are very lovable and their interviews are interesting. However, if ladys were interested in the voice actors, I thought it would be best not to focus on them yet, as long as their interest is more in the journey than in the voice actors, in order to keep them immersed in the journey. This adventure is long time to come. Of course, I don't mean to force that on ladys. I will leave it up to ladys to decide and I will continue to enjoy the journey with ladys no matter what the outcome. Σd(ゝ∀･)♪

Luffy's voice actress is literally the sole reason I started OP and I am forever grateful for her AMAZING work on this show... In fact I always wanted them to watch that one interview where the voice actors discuss their dubbing work in the live action that interview warms my heart and I think they'd like it a lot tbh.. Ofc nothing is mandatory because it is their journey and channel, they wouldn't check it out if they didnt want to! I get what you are saying tho! but they'll choose what they are comfortable with :))

2025-03-10 23:52:51 +0000 UTCok so for anyone struggling to understand, the commenter is just saying that knowing about the voice actors behind the characters might prevent an anime watcher from being immersed in the story, and they use their own experience to suggest that breaking the illusion of the story as its own world might ruin the overall experience, especially as we get further into the story where immersion is super critical. please be considerate everyone; our boy tried their best to spell out their thoughts, and i think they're saying something worth thinking about

2025-03-10 23:22:44 +0000 UTCAlthough may become a fan of voice actors when U like anime, I personally do not need personal information about ”the real” when I enjoy two-dimensional things, and in fact, I avoid it. It's not that I don't like voice actors, it's just that if I know too much about them, I can't get lost in the anime because I can't stop thinking about them while watching the anime. It is not that I dislike voice actors. I respect voice actors, and in fact I think it is a fun industry with many unique individuals. However, I don't think it is necessary to make it mandatory to delve deeper into voice actors when watching anime. If both of you are really interested in “voice actors” right "now", I think that's OK, absolutely. But if you not "now", you have a long way to OP, I think we can postpone digging deeper into the voice actors for a while. What do you think?

I'm not a fan of punishing ALL of their viewers who actually just comment bc they adore the girls and the show and wanna give a piece of their mind without spoiling just bc some other ppl don't have common sense. Discord is too much for me and I wanna show my support through commenting here, for example. But if the girls decide to turn off the comments I would 100% get why 😅 Sorry, just my opinion on this matter 😊

But you should also acknowledge the fact that luffy is an emerging pirate who didn't even start "the new world" journey, so his activity is easy to hide. The creators of the show hid a small easter egg or spoiler for the Merry being a sentient or having a soul and talking to the crew. Luffy spoke to it and thought the ship answered. But it was Ussop.

One thing: Kazuki Yao, as of December 2024, will no longer be voicing Franky. He's retiring due to worsening throat conditions over the last decade or so. Try to treasure every 'SUUUUPPPPPEEEEEERRRRRR!' going forward!

Your channel is great the reactions are fantastic and the reviews and analysis is second to none but your audience are a bunch of fools who love spoiling for you, and for everyone who is watching along with you. Everyone who has access to the patreon has access to the discord so if people wanna there are many good spots over there, but the constant nothing happens posts and many others during the W7 sage is infuriating. 2025-03-10 14:58:39 +0000 UTCJapanese pronounciation is really simple if you know the rules. The only two you need to know are: Consonant-vowel pairs are basically the same as in English. Ga, Ji, Te, etc etc. Vowels next to another vowel are pronounced separately. So Yao is more like Yah-Oh. Other than that, you were pretty much spot-on. There are exceptions, such as Fu/Hu, which are notoriously difficult for native English speakers, and the consonant "n" can exist on its own without a vowel (listen out for when Luffy says his "Balloon" move, "Fusen", as an example).
