I already love one piece enough on my own, but every time I reexperience it with you guys it brings me so much joy! Your guys' reactions fit me perfectly because its literally always how I reacted the first time I watched these loll I am currently almost caught up after a few years of watching and I am just super emotional with this show overall, hitting ep 1000 a few weeks ago really has put me in my feels because this is literally my favorite show of all time and one I hold very close to my heart lmaooo anyways amazing reactions as always!

We all watched the anime with the opening, it didn't stop us from enjoying the show and it certainly didn't reveal much of anything unless you sit there nitpicking everything in the opening. If I had to watch one piece through without watching the openings, my experience of it would absolutely have been diminished. I don't think it does them a service at all

Imagine that's the opening and then 10 seconds later they're burning the Merry, the whiplash lmao

The Japanese VA industry has a lot of crossover with their idol industry, so it's not uncommon for seiyuu to be cross-trained as singers. If you ever get around to watching Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid someday (highly recommend!), the principal voice cast effectively formed their own band for a bit.
