The intro and outro totally reflect this too. It's a wacky action anime on the surface (intro) but when you look closer it's about emotions and loneliness

2025-02-17 22:32:12 +0000 UTCI dont know if anyone's mentioned this before, but the original OPM manga, the one i first read, was drawn like, really badly, i mean maybe not 'badly' but they were not much more than doodles lol, but the story was SO good, SO funny, and SO popular that it was given to a like a professional manga studio to be redrawn much better, with the exact existing story of course. Just goes to show how a really great, funny, compelling story rises to the top That scene where he revealed his 'training' routine - I had to stop reading so I could stop laughing so hard, yeah okay, 100 pushups a day will contribute to pulverizing bad guys with one punch lmao. That "Every single day!!!" - was, oh man, the cherry on the icing, my sides were hurting. They tee'd it up so well only to get that loll. While the scene is the exact same, the experience of it is slightly different in the manga when you're ready vs when he's saying it Anyway i remember back when OPM came out it was this HUGE phenomenon cause it was such a hilarious take on 'superheroes'...etc, which was kind of a newer thing back then. That training reveal to me was one of the biggest laughs loll

Mosquito Girl's voice actress is Daki from Demon Slayer and Doctor Genus's voice actor is Choso from JJK, also Carnage Kabuto's voice actor plays a certain character in OP and FMAB. It's crazy how they all leave in one episode!
