2025-02-14 03:52:37 +0000 UTC@Dark_Eternal - it's only the black screen in between cuts (after intro, after the punch of the mid section break etc.) It desyncs it by few seconds - the pauses on crunchyroll are shorter, so we have to pause it from time to time to let the Hulu version catch up

Looking through the eyes of The Strongest human as we start our journey. It's always nice to see newcomers to my favorite shows as well as me being introduced to new show. The dub for this show is really bad so just wanted to make sure you’re watching in sub for the better experience. Sidenote: this is one of my favorite shows, next to One Piece! 😁 All of us OPM fans are looking forward to the 3rd season this year after about 6 years of waiting

2025-02-11 16:23:47 +0000 UTCMost of the villans and heros are references to other anime and literature. The 1st boss was a reference to Piccolo from Dragon balls. The 3rd was Reiner from AoT, 4th was from dead leaves and the subteraneans are a reference to the morlocks from HG wells. It's hard to overstate how hyped the fanbase was when this 1st dropped. The opening song was an instant hit and we were blown away by the crisp animation. I dont know if you guys know, but so many heavy hitters contributed to the animation in series one because they were all so excited to bring the manga to life. It really is one of a kind in that respect
