I have not really watched any of them, but I still know a little about them. Since they aren't canon, it could actually become somewhat confusing on what people can or can not do. There is even times, that canon characters make an appearance (Film Red, Strong world) and those might not resemble the actual canon characters, once they are actually appearing in the story. Just putting this out there as a warning. I would however absolutely watch the girls react to the movies!

You cut it out of this video, but in episode 344, at 13:38, when Zoro is using his "Nigiri" stance, there's a continuity error. He's using Wado Ichimonji in one hand, and YUBASHIRI in the other. Yubashiri, you remember, was destroyed by the rust-rust marine guy at Enies Lobby. Interestingly, though, despite having Yubashiri's handle, it has Sandai Kitetsu's jagged and irregular hamon line, whereas Yubashiri's hamon line is consistently wavy and regular. So it seems like they accidentally drew Yubashiri's handle over top of the line art for Sandai Kitetsu, and they never noticed. (Props to my brother for pointing this out, because I never noticed XD)

Fun fact, the samurai is a character from an early Oda one-shot manga, "Monsters", that he made before starting One Piece. There's a great little OVA on Netflix, "Monsters: 103 Mercies Dragon Damnation", that animates the short and covers his backstory, though you shouldn't watch it until after you've finished Thriller Bark since it re-animates a small scene from the arc you haven't gotten to yet.
