The only real reason I don't like it as much as most others is because, in my head, it feels like it drags on for a hundred episodes, even though it's less than fifty. Maybe that's because I was watching the Dub the first time, and I think it got cut off in the middle on the site I was watching, so I had to wait a long time for more.

I think this arc gets a lot of hate because it's kind of in a different category, the Davy Back Fight is despised by a portion of the fanbase(the fools) because it really takes on a theme. The people who are lucky enough to wander upon this one during Halloween, and Drum Island during Christmas, get an extra level of wonderment while there are whole cultures who never support such types of things. Hell even the concept of having a Skeleton as a character causes a stur amongst some people. Personally it introduces one of my favorite characters in the whole series, someone who's thought of as a real lame-o by a good helping of viewers but is a serious statement as to what it is to be a pirate. Kiss brought up Peter Pan and I had never connected how it could have been some of the concept behind the character's philosophy.

BROOK IS HERE!!! i love him so much, he's one of my favorite characters. his introduction scene also perfectly sets up the tone for the upcoming story arc, which i hope you'll enjoy! thriller bark is one of the more divisive arcs in one piece but personally i adore it, even if i do have some problems with it at times. still it's incredibly fun and has some of the best scenes in the series. it's going to be an amazing adventure! YOHOHOHO!
