Ore wa Shirohige da! Shanks' lost arm just got a whole new meaning. He didn't lose it in action. He bet it on the new generation, like purposefully? Fast backward to episode 4, just imagine how impactful that must have been for Luffy. His willingness to make sacrifice or even die for his friends is very likely inspired by his idol.

This feeling of "I want that everyone knows this history" it's what defines who really get what One Piece is about. Isn't about fights or funny scenes. One piece is a living world with people that we care about even they don't appers on screen since episode 1. That girl of the shels town, the mayer and chou chou, the ussop pirates. This isn't a simple history, this is art. A youtuber from Brazil says that One Piece it's Lord Of Rigs level in world building, races, language etc. I think that One Piece it's better. Oda Sensei it's a genius.

One Piece writing when it's like this is unbeatable. There's a good reason it's my favourite story EVER! Oda is the king of weaving a long story with connected elements through 100s of episodes! That's why I'm optimistic about the ending. he has had the ending planned since starting writing the story, so there will be many details and plot threads that play out now we are in the final saga. I feel the same about so many people missing out on such a great story, it really is a pity and that's why I will always appreciate how well they did with the live action. It brought in a lot of new fans that wouldn't have given it a go before. Thank you both for your reactions, they help brighten up my day and you are welcome; we love watching with you just as much as you do with us <3

If there is anyone who might be able to kill Luffy, it's Nami. She can hurt him more badly in seconds than Lucci was able to in a long serious fight ;) Isn't the voice actor of Whitebeard great? I love the sound of his voice, it is just amazing. And he brought one of my favourite lines in all One Piece: Ore wa shirohige!/I am Whitebeard! It is just epic and intimidating to hear this, when facing the strongest pirate.

Oda loves his recontextualizations lol. Learning about Aokiji's close friendship with Saul certainly changes the way we see what went down at Ohara. On a sillier note, I love that y'all accidentally called Spanda by his real name and then quickly corrected it to Spanda 🤣🤣🤣 The world keeps getting bigger with the mention of Vegapunk ("write that down" lol), the New World, the meeting between Whitebeard and Shanks, Shanks' warning to Whitebeard about Blackbeard, and the "splitting the sky" moment. How powerful can these 2 be to cause such an event? Glad y'all are enjoying the post Enies Lobby arc so far
