Such a good episode, we loved seeing Sein in action and choosing to trust Frieren thanks to Heiter. Plus, that Soiree and dance scene was amazing! Excited for more as always! Thanks so much for watching with us and have a very Happy New Year everybody!

I haven't read the manga and don't know where the story will go but this 3 month mini-arc for Stark where he learns noble-boy stuff could become handy in the future for him to avoid being decapitaded by kings and stuff!

We hear all the time of how people were inspired by Himmel the Hero, so it's nice to see someone being inspired by Heiter the Priest: Heiter trusted in Frieren's words so I will, too. I really love that small thing. I love the animation on the dance sequence in the second half. It's one of those things, like most of this show actually, that's so much better than it needs to be to be effective. I can really feel the love the makers have for their subject matter in that scene. I know we all sound like broken records but... it's such a beautiful show! It's too difficult to NOT say that every episode! lol

2024-12-31 17:03:31 +0000 UTCWatching you gush over Fern and Stark is so cute 🥰 glad to know I’m not the only one! This episode was a much needed “break” from the last one. As heartwarming as it was, it still felt very bittersweet when we face Himmel’s ever lasting love that wasn’t acknowledged by Frieren. But here we see Fern be able to recognize what is in front of her (Stark), different from Frieren’s past mistakes, as Fern too has the momentarily habit to get stuck in her own beliefs. What Kiss said about both looking away but ultimately looking at one another by the end shows that their love story has the potential to be fruitful within their lifetime.
