I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you. Genuinely. You are all the best.

These past few months and weeks have been a lot. Between my PayPal getting hacked, then PayPal deciding to permanently restrict my account (something until now hit me real hard especially when you aren’t doing anything bad), I've been tryingto find a way to keep things running. You all know i tried SubscribeStar and I'm still waiting on them to validate my account, who knows when that'll happen. Tried Selar and Payoneer too and you know how that went (for those who don’t either they share the same “trust’ search with paypal that just shows me as untrustworthy like paypal and just deny me by default. And closed the accounts)

I don't know if it's racism or just automatic mistrust, but it really sucks that big corporations can look at where you're from, see an African country, and just lump you in with everyone else they've decided is suspicious. Apparently being in Kenya and making dollars is enough to set off alarms. It's exhausting.

I finally landed on IntaSend, and it seemed like the answer. But I'm hearing from some of you that it's giving you trouble, and that just sucks even more. I'm sorry you're dealing with that just to support me.

So here's the plan. Around December 10th, I'll put up a poll on the Discord. If IntaSend isn't working for enough of you and we need to switch things up, I'll go back to Patreon and route the payouts through a family member's PayPal. They're working in the US as a nurse, been there for some years right now, so hopefully that'll actually function. That gives us enough time to see if IntaSend is viable for most people (it has worked for some of you) or if we need to pivot again.
I know I am not the best author you could be reading. I know that. I make mistakes. English isn't even my first language. I literally need to use AI to help translate my thoughts from Swahili to English half the time. And yet you stuck around. You could have just said my ideas weren't my own and left. Plenty of people would have. But you didn't. You stayed. And I don't take that for granted.

I also haven't forgotten how some of you sent money when I was sick a year back or when my dad needed his leg operation. I was able to actually help than just letting my siblings take loans. Or when finally, I was able to actually buy my nephews and nieces presents for the first time as an uncle. That was a great and happy feeling.

The stories aren't going anywhere. Everything continues as planned, except for the ones I've already said are wrapping up. I'm not disappearing. I'm not stopping. Just figuring things out.
