2024-12-24 09:41:59 +0000 UTCIf you remember, when Frieren first meets baby Fern, Fern points out that Frieren had trouble finding her because her mana is hard to detect, which Frieren seems surprised by. And then Fern says, "that's a good thing, right?" and Frieren agrees. At the time, it doesn't seem that notable a conversation, but now we know that suppressing mana is not something mages do, but here is little Fern already practicing it. And here we see that Heiter knew Frieren suppressed her mana and even discussed it with her. It seems clear to me that mana suppression is something Fern learned from Heiter before she even met Frieren. Heiter really did have a mage child and he taught her to practice magic the way Frieren does. What better way to praise Frieren's hard work? It's all just too precious. ❤️

2024-12-22 12:49:00 +0000 UTCIt's hinted through context that Kraft performed and achieved similiar feats in the past to Frieren's party as he wasn't at all phased or impressed when Fern mentioned Frieren helped defeat the Demon King (a legendary feat that affected the entire world) which somewhat perplexed Fern. Kraft is probably like, "been there done that". XD

2024-12-21 19:36:50 +0000 UTCFrieren joins in on the prayers because of something Heiter said back in ep 4. He said: "I don't care if Heaven exists or not, but if it doesn't, I believe it should. Because it's more convenient that way. All those people doing their best to live deserve better than nothingness awaiting them. I prefer to think they live the good life in Heaven." Essentially, it's a very simple argument religious people use, which is that praying costs you nothing, but not praying can cost you everything, and at the very least prayer can make you feel better. Personally I'm not a religious person but I can see the appeal. As long as your religion lets you live a good, happy life, and you don't start taking away other people's rights because of your religious beliefs, I think it's a beautiful thing. Religion is a tool like any other, in the right hands it can make your life better, but in the wrong hands it can make someone else's life worse. So use it responsibly ;)

Fern wanting to avoid anyone she sees as weird is too funny 😂😂😂 Stark does have great reactions to stuff lol. Frieren honoring the corpses of the fallen heroes of that town/city shows how much she's grown since traveling with Himmel, Eisen, and Heiter (and, again, so wholesome). Stark always seems so popular with the kids in these montages
