My paypal was hacked. took 300 dollars in commissions, then quickly deleted the account so i couldn't rush to refund or contact support. don't know how they did it as i live alone and bever shared my password but yeah, stings. that was going to help pay my rent and shopping for the month
Don't know how they did it but take care out there. Don't want any of you to face the same

For the two factor even if it was your phone they can claim you lost it and get verified through email or stolen info. Surprisingly local banks are usually the most secure digitally due to low transaction traffic and similar security. You can still file a claim it will just take longer since they got their banking privileges in the US they don't really care about refunds with provable theft because Uncle Sam insures it.
