Update and Posting advice

I am Feeling a bit better though the malaria hit me harder than i thought. Thank you for your kind comments and well wishes.

However this sickness has taught me a lot.

i Know many of you have been supporting me due to my fast update schedule. However, apart from malaria my doctor has told me i am very much fatigued.

Currently i have 5 fics ongoing and 1 that i have been cooking in my mind during my sick leave, not counting nsfw fics and commissions

Effects Of A Gamer

Return Of the Elden Lord

The Celestial Smith

Harry Potter, savior Of The Old World

A Spider's Frost

A commoners dance of dragons (basically a common/smallfolk who gains power, fighting for the common people during the dance of dragons)

All these, barring sickness and a heavy week of work at my job, have been updated weekly, some good, some not so good.

I had thought myself able to continuously write during my free time at work but due to economic problems in Kenya and worldwide, the place i work is going into a work overdrive and looking to downsize and cut costs where available. And when cutting cost is mentioned, the first to go are people not looking busy at work or doing something else other than work. Plus with the increased workload, i cant write at work and don't have a lot of time to write at home when i get back from my job.

This lead me to ask your advice, if any of you have written fics before or as followers of other fic writers, on a schedule you will find acceptable for you as a readers and supporters.

I know i will have disappointed many who have been supporting from day one and recently who expected the current schedule to continue or increase. I know of those who only post once or twice a month but i have read their work and it is very superior to mine, i have not reached such a level to make that my schedule. The world is hard and things getting more expensive but you give what little you have to support me and i have to humbly thank you for your support. Thanks to you all, i was able to help pay for my fathers medical bills during and after his surgery.

I wish this could be my full time job, just writing fics but i have not been able to reach that point yet. If i was, i would be able to do at least 2 or three chapters a day. Maybe one day, when i grow as a writer and have more fans, it will be so.

If these changes will affect your support or require you to support someone else, all i can say is thank you for having my back until now.

For those who remain, i ask for your advice on a new schedule

I really love your stories. One other Author I really follow is Drinor. He has a fixed schedule for each story (one new chapter each month) and one story that is voted for to get an extra chapter. The reality is, the bigger you grow the more people you will have that will follow you for only specific few stories. And ofc everybody wants the story they like the most to be focused on. Not gonna lie, I was really impressed with your writing/posting speed, but ofc real life and health takes precedence. You do as you feel best. The only advice I would give is to keep it balanced. Also, you are "divided" into plot stories like Elden Lord and more smut driven stories. It would be best to have balanced updates between them, but if that is not possible then look if the majority of your readers are more into your smutty stories or your plot heavy ones. Also, its great that you want to improve as a writer, just don't go thinking that this is like "do or die" necessary and burn yourself out. There are some really artistic writers who write beautifully but their stories are boring. I think the majority of us care most about the plot being interesting and fun to read. Your stories have the "hook" to get our attention and keep it. Sorry for the rant. Good luck! Cheers! 😉

I'd do a poll and do the top 2 stories more frequently, and then the lower stories half or 1/4 as frequently
