2024-11-02 23:37:39 +0000 UTCFr, the "opening is spoilers" crowd is getting annoying, on many different channels too. There are a few openings that I'd legit consider spoilery, like The Rumbling, and the One Piece one that spoils a certain villain becoming a friend. But on the whole they are not spoilers and are meant to be seen with the show. People just have hindsight of knowing the story and see everything as a spoiler, then tell all the reactors not to watch any intros ever, and they listen because they're being cautious, as they should be.

Also, to think Megumi had access to this much power, a power that can rival and possibly defeat the strongest sorcerer? I dont know. This was the episode I was waiting for the reaction to since you guys started JJK and honestly you didn't disappoint, thank you. It was perfect. Great decision just putting the second half of the episode up. Again, thank you! Have a fantastic weekend!!

If you want some crazy power scaling perspective, in season 1 episode 2 when Gojo is explaining who Sukuna is to Yuji Yuji - "Who's stronger, you or him?" Gojo - "If Sukuna regained all of his power (20 fingers), it might be a little draining" Yuji - "Would you lose?" Gojo - "I'd win" Here Sukuna only had 15 fingers xD π

2024-11-02 14:41:43 +0000 UTCKey points for anyone who missed them: 1) Mahoraga is Megumi's "trump card" that Gojo alluded to in season 1. It was during Megumi's flashback while fighting the second finger bearer. Megumi was also planning to use it against Sukuna during their fight at the juvenile detention center. This is what Sukuna is referring to when he said that Mahoraga would've beaten him had Megumi summoned it at that time. 2) Because Mahoraga is untamed, Megumi can summon it as many times as he needs to until he is able to tame it. Sukuna simply cancelled the ritual. Mahoraga has not been permanently destroyed. 3) After adapting, Mahoraga isn't just able to see Sukuna's slashes. It's capable of deflecting them as well. This was made clearer in the manga. 4) Mahoraga didn't just adapt to Sukuna's slashes. It adapted to slashing attacks in general. Mahoraga couldn't be destroyed by Malevolent Shrine, which is why Sukuna had to finish it off with the fire arrow.
