2024-10-24 23:16:33 +0000 UTCThis scene confused me the first time i watched it, and i actually don't know the answer to what exactly is happening so whether you take my post as a spoiler or not, i don't know, because i actually don't know the answer or truth or explanation, i'm just speculating here based on what i've seen ..but my tinfoil hat theory is something related to how Todo started imagining Yuji as his "brotha/bestfriendoooo" when they fought, and we laughed it off... but maybe it's more than that, maybe's some sense of empath or shared memory that yuji can do? And we don't actually know yuji's backstory. If you remember in episode 1, his grandfather wanted to tell him something important about his parents but he died before yuji heard any of it... Is it possible that Yuji's backstory that even he doesnt know about, it's that maybe yuji is one of those test tube babies from that single mother that was forced to procreate with the curse or something? Or maybe Yuji's "heavenly pact" is related to implanting memories maybe? or sharing/absorbing false memories? Is that why sukuna was compatible with his body? because yuji's able to adapt to false memories of sukuna's soul without tearing his own body/soul apart? And when the blood of yuji and this guy mixed, it caused the false memories to overflow? Making him effectively a "brother" to the blood art user here ? I don't know, I still don't know nor understand but that's where my mind is at, so i'ma keep watching season 2 and see since i'm catching up with you girls.

It's also interesting that Choso didn't know that he couldn't use his techniques in a wet environment, considering that he's still very young and not used to fighting.

I love it when they do that, tell you how exactly something works, the reasons behind everything etc. Also, of all the unexpected things to happen at the end of an ep, when I first saw this, I remember being so confused lol
