2024-10-16 05:07:10 +0000 UTCI think its more clear in the manga but the 299 seconds was the time it took Gojo to kill the transfigured humans. Gojo basically cast an insanely fast domain expansion of only 0.2 seconds to stun everyone. You're right that the prison realm takes 1 min to activate but that 1 min is based on perception so that's why "Geto" appeared in front of Gojo- to make him remember the years of memories they shared together. "For Gojo Satoru, 1 minute had passed a long time ago."

2024-10-16 01:15:52 +0000 UTCFrom what i understood, the reason gojo was sealed wasn't just because he stood there for a full minute in front of Geto, but because the prison seal requires a person to stand within range for a full minute, but it doesn't require an ACTUAL full minute, it needs to be a minute of perception in that person's mind. When Gojo did his domain expansion, that 0.2s in the real world was 299s in his mind (as per narration), and that 299s > 60s required for the prison seal. So Gojo was actually put in a lose-lose situation based on what what Fake Geto (Feto, if you will), put in front of him. Feto didn't just show up to keep Gojo in that area (other than for the effect to activated based on the timer that already clocked down), Feto came in front of Gojo because he already won, because Feto wouldn't risk facing Gojo otherwise. He was quite literally there to do his monologue after already winning, but afaik, even if Feto didn't show up there, Goju would have already met the 60s requirements to be sealed, because that's how he perceived time itself in his own limitless void mind, during that 0.2s, most of which he spent within that 4m radius towards the end of his killing spree. Kinda reminds of the Flash's flashtime, particularly the CW episode i think in season 4, called Flashtime as well. I'll keep it vague and spoiler free but it's where he had almost a similar time to do something while at superspeed, and if he stopped, it was doomed. But the flash (and gojo here) could perceive time differently during flashtime, even leave the room or study something or build something, go on a killin spree, or... well... be considered in the radiu of something for that perceived time.

I made cinnamon french toast too just for this reaction, and ate it with maple syrup (im in Montreal so we have the good stuff), so yeah, PERFECTION. Congratulations. That was worth 10 reactions honestly. I was SO concerned that the Geto thing would've been spoiled for you guys, but that reveal, oh man, your faces, the shock, the horror, Carissa's emotional support wall to her right, just everything. Honestly I was as shocked and horrified, and disgusted as you guys were when you saw the ep. You guys are fantastic. Honourable mention to Gojo for taking out Hanami, also kinda shocking, thought she'd last a little longer, but Gojo don't play I guess. And another one for his 0.2 second Domain, that was nuts. I really thought he'd have no choice but to use it and sacrifice everyone. REALLY looking forward to Thursday! Thank you again!!!
