It would even make sense for Owen to want to place strengthened defenses there as well, with the Riverlands bordering the Westerlands and Crownlands both. Just have to be very careful about where they are placed and whom they trust. Enjoy your time off! It’s well deserved after how often you post. Burnout is a real problem with writing. The moment it becomes a chore, a story starts to die. Thanks for the update! I’ll eagerly be looking forward to your return.

That was amazing and I'm even more hyped for when Ned and Owen tell Stannis to take a hike when he demands once again for the North's fleet to be remanded to his control. It's going to be hilarious. And you can feel the salt and delusional entitlement from Cersei. She (and her kids) are not better than or too good for the North. The North is too good for them instead.
