I'm glad they didn't skip this arc. While Toei eff'd it up with extra stuff, it's 100% a necessary canon arc. If someone watches a pointless arc like G8 that has no impact or importance and skips this one, that's silly. Anyone who urged to skip this arc back then, you're dumb and you should feel dumb and realize you're not a one piece fan at all. I'll gatekeep with something like that.

It's not always about the big battles and stuff, sometimes it's about the dumb little moments along the way.

One of the arcs that entertained me the most is this little 'Long Ring Long Land' arc. I understand that you want the story to progress quickly, but they will probably watch this series only once, and even if they watch it multiple times, we're experiencing it for the first time together with them. Please let them watch it slowly and savor every moment.

If or if not they will like an arc etcetc. Be careful what you write. I had to edit this comment because i spoiled without thinking about it. Secondly, Jesus Christ i've seen like 15 comments from you saying the same thing. Over and over and over again. Just get over it man. Just because you don't like this arc doesn't mean they wont, they might think it's super funny. Or they might dislike it like you, but just let them have this journey their own way. Annoying seeing the same comment over and over. And yes it is cannon, even if you don't want it to be. Just a couple of episode in the middle is filler,(220-225 to be exact), the rest is 100% cannon. I would say if it's your first time watching one piece then watch 100% of everything. How else will they know if they like it or not? Please just be quiet about it and enjoy. If they watch the arc then more reaction episodes with Haylo and Kiss right? I'd say watch everything Haylo and Kiss ! Thats a good thing imo :D

Tonjit being on those stilts for 10 years is so ridiculous, but so One Piece humor, and I love it πππ. Foxy getting so dejected by Luffy not knowing about him is hilarious π€£π€£π€£. Luffy being Luffy by picking 3 coins (and being tricked by Foxy's member) is just too good π€£π€£π€£

2024-09-27 16:30:45 +0000 UTCI almost think they should just watch both 225 and 226, in order to avoid the hassle of skipping around the filler moments, but I think it's definitely helpful to share timestamps with them (in case skipping 220 - 225 is a decision they've firmly committed to). I think skipping 220 - 224 is a decision most people will agree with, but when it comes to mixed filler / canon like 225 - 226, things can get dicey. Fortunately, it's easier to navigate the series after this point.
