Let me make a poll about it

Are we going to see what happens in other kingdoms soon? Such as Reach having to curtail their expenses because they are not selling any food to the north

Thank you. Glad you like it and thank you for the support

This is my favorite chapter of this story so far. I love just about everything start to finish. "The crown knows exactly what it needs to know," Robert thundered, slamming his fist on the table. "Ned Stark has paid his taxes threefold and cleared the crown's debt to your father. Or does that displease Lord Tywin?" It absolutely displeases Tywin! Nearly two decades of work putting the crown so into debt that he could pretty much say or do anything short of insulting Robert to his face, all gone! Tywin would be beyond furious! Fantastic. I love Robert's reactions here. He is happy for his friend, and won't have anyone saying anything bad about him. And god help anyone who tries to put their mitts on Ned Stark's honest-gotten gains! My one criticism in the chapter is the cost of the necklace. A single gold dragon is incredibly valuable in Westeros. We don't know exactly how much because despite his talent, Martin's world building is very thin. The economy and value of goods and services isn't a thing in his story, so we only have a few lines to go off of, but 300,000 dragons is something like $300 million to $3 billion dollars in modern monetary value. I think it would have been better served if you'd gone with 30,000 instead. Insanely valuable for a single piece of jewelry, but still affordable in the right circles. Other than that, I think it was perfect. Thanks for writing and sharing, and I can't wait to see the next chapter.
