At 6:25, the person who said he saw the StrawHat ship twice was in Movie 4 (which is a decent attempt of the Toei team to make a One Piece movie, but obviously not receiving as much attention as Movie 6.

So unless oda decides to include it into the manga, anything that happens there is not really relevant for the overall plot, but its a fun arc to watch nonetheless.

After finishing it I remember thinking it was alright, and considering it's the "worst arc" that's really impressive. I think people over-react, it's not terrible, it's just kinda mid and it's competing against amazing arcs. I don't regret watching it

It also hints towards big things in the One Piece world that literally just got revealed in the manga. G8 is super fun too.
