Since few people are actually asking questions about THIS arc I'll ask. Thoughts on Eneru as a villain in general and compared to previous villains like Crocodile and Arlong? I think he's one of the best with him, combat wise, being the perfect opposite to Luffy and actually being straight up insane tripping on his thought invincible power so much so that he 100% thinks he IS God. Also this is a top 3 arc for me in One Piece, the almost magical feeling of adventure and romanticism speaks to me at an intimate level. I felt the same exact way as you Haylo " I can't believe this is real, somebody actually wrote this?" lol. So any reflection or discussion on the arc as a whole is welcome.

Skypiea will always be one of my favorite One Piece arcs and I can’t even believe that some people skip it. BUT DONT SKIP LONG RING LONG LAND PLEASE😂💀even if it’s bad it’s still canon so it should be watched. Also, you need to watch Long Ring Long Land at least once as a One Piece fan😂😂I personally think it’s nice downtime from all the madness we just experienced and the EVEN MORE INSANE STUFF coming in the next arc after it! Haylo and Kiss with every end of an Arc or huge events comes the calm. Filler or not i have rewatched One piece like a total of 3 times and i have enjoyed every filler arc. after all it gives us insight on who the straw hats really are as a characters individually or as a group. For example you guys skipped a filler episode in Alabasta where the group was wandering in the desert. in this episode luffy, zoro, and chopper was seperated from the main group via nami, vivi, etc. Chopper being a new member asked zoro a very important question this episode which was how does a disfuntional captain like luffy and a bunch of self driven adults work together and it was a wholesome moment of seeing how zoro sees the group and how they work together. They also stumbled across some ruins in which you guys have known to be poneglyphs. if you watched this episode it would have driven questions like what are these stones with unique letters, and do they matter? I. guess all im saying is its up to yall Im glad to follow along with yall whether you skip fillers or not and its fun to watch your takes! im just giving my take on what the fillers provide. which is insight on how the straw hats deal with problems together. i could be wrong but thsts how i saw fillers. not just bad jokes and boring scenes. but funny jokes and cool scenes!

G8 is pretty good. I would recommend you skip the filler episodes that come up in the next arc. It's again mixed with canon material which I think should be a crime, but anyway. Maybe you could watch the one pace version for "long ring long land". Its a 20episode arc and one pace makes it 6 or 8, can't remember off the top of my head. It's also not good filler. Just bad jokes and boring scenes.

G8 might be filler but it’s probably the best filler in the series and some of the best filler in anime period. Even the canon filler like Buggy’s little adventure or Colby and Helmpo’s training arc. It is the best comedy in the series not written by Oda himself. So have fun with it and don’t take This or the next arc which is cannon that has filler blended in to seriously because they are meant to be fun and they truly are

What's your favorite devil fruit power so far in the series? And if you could eat one, what would it be? Could be one that's in the show already or could be one that you come up with. There are so many unique powers that I would love to hear your thoughts on it. I'm here for the ride so doesn't matter if you skip or watch G8 filler. It doesn't impact the story either way. And despite how tedious it is, I don't recommend skipping LRLL arc since it contains canon materials. After that however, prepare for several hundreds episodes of peak fiction lol. The next saga is where my obsession of this show started. It's been over 15 years and still going strong. Best story ever written in my opinion. It's been a pleasure to experience this story again with you guys. Best wishes.

G8, the marine base filler arc, is next. I skipped it the first time through and came back to it when I had caught up. It is great, it really is just good fun from start to finish and its fairly unique too. Water 7, the next official arc, is widely considered the best of all time though. It's how I watched One Piece my first time around, and even though they're different, I think the English voice actors put so much love and effort into the roles just like the Japanese actors do! I met Luffy's actor Colleen Clinkenbeard, perfect name for a pirate haha. (Side note, the English actor for Dalton and Eneru are the same person, while the English Actor for Crocodile and Sky Knight Ganfall are the same too!)

I wish the OP anime didn't mix filler into LRLL so thoroughly; like if you skip the filler eps it makes the transition back into the canon parts confusing. So to avoid confusion a lot of ppl recomment just watching the ~4 eps of filler in LRLL but that'll still be kinda painful

the trouble with the arc is that the anime did bloat some episodes / there are filler aspects of it. It can't (and shouldn't) be skipped outright because there is crucial canon throughout, but I'm wondering if someone could put together either a guide for them on the filler parts to skip or if they could sorta breeze through those parts quickly somehow. Idk it's tricky, could just be a necessary evil for us all to push through it with them because everything after is so worthwhile and exciting.

Oh myy, a QnA session how fun!! 1. We've explored so many places and met so many amazing characters so far. Which arc and side characters (or straw hat) made the most impact on you and why? Whose character development have you been enjoying most and who do want to see more fleshed out? For example, I personally really enjoyed Vivi’s character development. Maybe because I am a very highly anxious person myself, I could see myself in her when she would worry about absolutely everything even when she had no control over the situation and was miles away from home. She learned from the straw hats that it’s ok to breathe, and enjoy the present especially if there’s nothing you can do at that moment. No amount of worrying or overanalyzing will help. Rest up, have fun, laugh, make preparations and then give it your all once you get there. The composure she had at the still of night in Alabasta as she was contemplating whether she would leave with the straw hats gave me chills. I feel like past her would have been pacing around the room, I was happy to see the contrast. 2. One Piece is a living, breathing world, so the characters we’ve met are still out there living their life and doing their own thing. Which characters do you think we will cross paths with again and what role will they play in our journey? 3. People say that One Piece is outwardly goofy and surprisingly very deep (or maybe its too early to say right now and this is better in a future QnA session). Do you agree with that sentiment? What themes of One Piece sticks out to you and were there any that you didn’t expect to see in this goofy pirate anime? What other conflicts do you want to see explored?  4. What are your theories on devil fruits - Logia, Paramecia, Zoan. Each devil fruit user has been classified in one of these three types. What do you think are the characteristics of each one? In that case when LRLL was aired you must been around 8-9 years, at most...an age where you maybe didn't care tink about the themes of the arcs and rater focus on the action and since you didn't liked the arc then never give another try, of course I'm assuming things but you are taken those liberties then let me take mines too. And you make sound LRLL like doesn't have anything important when it does but again, talk about it is spoiler, don't blame us if you didn't understood the thematic of the arc and you should respect the journey of everyone. Again, when you love something you do it with their highs and lows and is a fact that in my opinion LRLL is the low of OP but that doesn't mean that in every rewatch or reread that I've made and will do I don't see-read the full arc. One Piece humor resonates with them, unlike other reactors like Rice&Ginger, so why ROB them of hilarious canon moments with the Strawhats in LRLL, which contains plot elements that directly inform the W7 arc after it? Thematically is very important, if you don't see why then you are not understanding what Oda put in every arc of One Piece and regardless history and lore is spoiler so we can not discuss this yet Oda is human and there are times when even him not deliver a smooth arc, but every one of them are connected in some way so all arcs are important

For all those that said that Long Ring Long Land must be skipped should stop...it contains Canon story so it must been see, the in between non Canon episodes it could be skipped, but not the first ones and last ones, those are necessary and if you don't see why then you don't really consume One Piece...you should see Mama Drawk analysis Besides has one of the most iconic outfits of Luffy haha

@Pinder -- Omg, yes, thank you for saying this. Another reaction channel that I follow recently skipped the Foxy arc, and it's the first time I've ever seen a channel skip canon episodes. It was (IMO) incredibly disheartening to see. Ignoring the fact that it's disrespectful to Oda, who puts a lot of thought into his story, it was frustrating for those of us who have been paying to watch their reactions to the entire One Piece journey. It might not be the most exciting arc, but if someone truly wants reactors to experience the One Piece series, they won't ask to skip the lows just because greater moments are on the horizon. Like, one of the biggest themes of this series is appreciating the journey, cause that's more important than the destination.

yo! about reading the cover stories, I suggest avoiding that, it is important I know, but because of that, I believe it will be shown in the anime at the right time. (even if it still doesn't show until this moment even after +1100 ep) about the next arcs, thanks for a start watching this filler (if you can do triple upload until you finish it that will be a good idea), however, the next main arc (Long Ring Island) is one of the badest arcs ever, so my suggestion if you need to watch it, is to do triple uploads (or even more XD) until you finish it, cause it is really bad arc
