Like, yes, we could probably do without Satori, and I wouldn't mind Luffy getting out of the snake a but earlier😂 ...but that's pretty much my only complaint, the rest is amaazing. The lore, the backstories, the characters, the setting, all the aha-moments from clues and foreshadowing ~realising how everything's connected, the fights, the gags, Oda pulling our heartstrings, it's soooo good!

Theres important canon info for characters that will come back into the story that the anime glosses over as well as important world building. Now that you’re basically done with Skypiea now would be a good time to check out the ones you’ve missed (assuming you haven’t read them already)

2024-09-11 14:05:22 +0000 UTCI'll try to make this as spoiler-free as possible: You're probably already aware that some acpects of the One Piece story are not included in the anime, but are still canon to the story. These are the so called cover-stories, that are told through covers of individual chapters. These stories sometimes got adapted very early on (e.g. Koby & Helmeppo's training), but Toei pretty much stopped adapting them for many years. The story regarding Enel and the moon is one of these instances. If you do want to find out more about what happened to him, you can look up "Enel's Great Space Operations". But to not get spoiled by the titles, you should either let someone else look up versions that exclude the chapter titles, or wait until you're done with Ep. 369. This cover story does not spoil any future arcs, only the titles of the chapters themselves could include some spoilers, so just be aware of that. I'm just writing this, because I know people will ask you to read it and I just want you to know what could contain spoilers while doing so.

Oda knows how to make us hate and even feel scared by a character, he's a genious. Enel is terrifying, and Crocodile was too.
