Ah yes, nitpicking, that's the word I was looking for when I said "barely a small point in an awesome story", thanks :D As you said in the third part, the compasses don't work on the Grand Line - Nami used the compass in the East Blue - they don't work on the grand line - Nami was freaking out and that's when they introduced the log poses (Just looked it up, episode 63, starting at about 14:53) But it's actually a fair poin that there are other possibilites of navigating - haven't thought about it. I think it's mainly because of the cardinal direction drawn on the leaf that I thought of a compass and it seemed strange to me π€

2024-09-13 00:54:39 +0000 UTCThe log pose is for navigating the Grand Line. Which has crazy weather and phenomena making it hard to get around the sea. Nothing says that they can't navigate on land lol. So I think this is a nitpicky critique. Nami had a regular compass before getting the Log Pose btw so we know they work in the One Piece world. From the wiki - A Log Pose is a specialized type of compass, a necessity for navigating the Grand Line (where the unique minerals in every island produce atypical magnetic fields that render ordinary compasses useless). So normal ways of navigating still works just not when going from island to island.

2024-09-13 00:51:04 +0000 UTCI forgot to write: One thing I didn't like about this part with the message was: One big plot of the Grandline is, that the compass don't work and that they can't orient themselves by normal means - which is why we have the log poses and why we absolutely needed the south bird from Jaya. Now suddenly they all know where West is..? :/ But it was barely a small point in an awesome story! :D

That is why i love Luffy as a character so much his TENACITY is through the roof! he will keep hounding, keep clawing his way through adversity! GET EM LUFFY!

Its just so good and you will absolutely fall in love with all of the characters. I know there's only 1 season out and the next one will be a while but if you wait a year or 2 to watch it you will 100% say you wish you had watched it sooner.

Its the best filler in thr entire series and better than alot of canon material. 100% you two will love it and people will want to see yall react to it.
