Estranged sisters are a major weakness!! But beyond that, this episode was really great. Super interesting to see a bit of Mai and Maki's past/dynamic. Maki is a beast and we love it! Excited to see more as always! Thanks for watching with us and we'll see you for the next one.

JJK is really action heavy which I personally love, and the story and setting isn't half-assed either which is just a really fun combo. The characters are great in terms of their personalities as well, though I do wish they were more fleshed out in terms of backstory, but that's okay!

2024-08-27 16:07:34 +0000 UTCyou'll learn more about heavenly pacts in the future, right now you just need to remember what they've revealed so far: 2 character's have been introduced with one: maki and mechamaru (that's the name of the robot but i think they haven't revealed the students name yet). mechamaru: he was born with a fragile body but in exchange he has a vast amount of cursed energy and can control it from far distances. maki: she was born with no cursed energy but with insane physical ability's. the opposite to mechamaru. a heavenly pact can't be placed by will, it's random and the name itself explains that it's given by the "heavens". and i think that's about it so far! we'll help you if you get lost at some point🕺

2024-08-27 15:23:45 +0000 UTCfirst of all, YA'LL ARE SO CUTE OH MY GOD😭♡, second lol, i was excited for this ep to come because i had the feeling that it would hit you hard just like it does to me haha, as someone who has sisters, their relationship is lowkey torture lol, cause just like hayley said, you can't help but imagine how that would feel like with your own sibling. i love the writing here, both of them were born into the same cruel environment but they are clear opposites of each other, maki's response to being treated as a failure was independence and resolve to find her way into the jujutsu world on her own, while mai is ok with just being an average person, that alone gives their relationship and their characters a lot of depth in my opinion! women are treated poorly in shonen, so i love what the author did in this ep, literally dedicated to the girlies lol, the nobara and nishimiya dialogue was also really good! loved the reaction♡ so excited for the next few episodes

For twins, the theorized cause of the fear is that the mother wouldnt have enough to feed both since they are drawing from the same well. So she would either have to kill one or give one to another nursing mother, which would condemn her child to starve. The superstitions that came as a justification are: one of the twin is a demon that physically copied the baby during pregnancy, or they are split soul( meaning sub human), or cursed, etc... Jjk families seems to be purist and traditionalist.
