Even tho mahito is a baby he has very high intelligence and his cursed technique is dangerous. he was pushed to the brink of death by yuji and nanami so he learned how to use domain Expansion. it’s the only way to deepen your understanding of curse energy is when your being pushed to the limit.

Only a select few are capable of reaching that level of sorcery (typically they'll be special grades like Gojo, Jogo and Sukuna as they've shown so far). Mahito touched sukuna soul because mahito domain touches the soul when the person is inside not that Mahito missed nanami. Also in anime people tend to sneeze when people mention them like Yuji sneezed when Megumi mentioned him lol just a anime trope that tends to be in a lot of anime or they would mention they feel irritated like Megumi did when Yuji mentioned him in ep 5 or 6 when Gojo was teaching him about techniques.

2024-08-13 16:35:20 +0000 UTCAbout the domain, it isn't that Mahito unleashed the technique and hit Sukuna instead of Nanami, it hit both. The technique is imbued in the domain itself that's why Nanami was portrayed as being in his hand, so it hits everyone and everything at the same time, therefore, touching Sukuna was unavoidable. Just to clarify why Nanami wasn't insta-killed/transformed, Mahito's technique is touching souls and altering them, but he does this in 2 steps, first touch then alter on command, so the altering part was never done basically because of this villain syndrome of not finishing the job on time.

Didn’t enjoy the animation of season 2 and thought the story was ok but weaker than season 1 and when everyone started saying season 2 was the best story best anime best thing ever I was just confused because that’s really over rating season 2.

I think one of the reasons why people love S2 so much is cause of how many 'major' things happen, how many sick things happen, how the scale sort of ramps up, the tension ramps wayyyy up, and a lot of things that generally don't happen in animes in their season 2's happened in this anime's season 2. It broke a lot of the expectations - and honestly I loved it. Each episode was like crazier than the last. I still go on youtube and occasionally watch an S2 reaction here and there. I won't lie, im seriously excited for their season 2 reaction, and it's possible theyve even recorded up to late S1

To say they'll understand why JJK is beloved when they reach S2 seems to imply that S1 wasn't beloved. Frankly, and I know I'm kinda in the minority, I enjoyed S1 and the movie WAY more than the second half of S2. It didn't help that manga fans frequently oversold the Shibuya Arc by telling anime-only viewers how the anime adaptation (unreleased at the time) would either be the greatest piece of fiction since Chimera Ant in HxH... or the greatest piece of fiction EVER. That's an unrealistically high bar to achieve.

It's very easy to just force your way into someone domains because why the hell would you EVER want to run inside your opponents domain? So many people just pass this off as Yuji having a main character moment and invading Mahitos domain.
