"To You, Someday"

WOW
This episode was absolutely nuts!! It got dark, depressing, and serious so quick. Every single thing was impressive.... but Junpei deserved better 😭💔
We cannot wait for the next one because our adult of adults has arrived and we need to immediately know what happens. Oh and shoutout to Mappa for that intro bait?!? Unreal. Thanks so much for watching with us and we'll see you for the next one!

Love that you called Nanami "papa" without knowing why... Nanami kinda nestles into your soul before you even realize he's there

I agree, Mahito is hot XD

clarification: (no spoilers) When yuji (died) and was with sukuna in his conscience sukuna after talking a lot with itadori proposes a deal (fight to the death and the winner would decide the pact between them 2) and yuji accepts and sukuna cuts off his head in a second. And there sukuna made a pact with yuji that everyone unravels and sukuna made itadori forget it.

"The next words that spilled from my lips came from so deep in my gut that it nearly made all the things I've ever said feel like a lie" is my favorite line in the entire series, both seasons and movie. Goosebumps every single time.

junpei 😪 he didn’t deserve any of what happened to him

i love how yuji have so many cool dynamics with other characters, especially him with mahito is my favorite, as mahito said yuji is his natural enemy bcs he understands his own soul which in return allows him to hurt mahito. Also him with nanami training him and fighting side by side, it’s impressive that yuji can fights without even having a cursed technique, he’s able to dodge hits and can throw some punches with only his barehands, some of jujutsu sorcerers can’t hit their enemy even when they have a technique. He’s so cool he influenced and inspired other characters, junpei, megumi, and others...

The villains in this show are some of the most horrifyingly evil and yet some of the most fun to watch that it’s almost unfair. 😂 Mahito and Sukuna, especially. They both have a playful side that is entertaining and yet oh so terrifying. They’re both so well animated and voiced, too. Another thing I noticed while watching this time, we obviously get that amazing moment when Yuji tells Mahito he’ll kill him from so deep down that everything else he’d ever said felt like a lie, but when Nanami shows up and talks through the situation logically with Yuji, Nanami says they’ll exorcise Mahito and Yuji agrees rather than doubling down on wanting to kill Mahito. I don’t know Japanese, so I’m really relying on the translation, but it seems like Nanami kind of helps Itadori de-escalate his emotions. I want to say that’s intentional since a big theme of these episodes has been that Yuji takes killing seriously and that Nanami wants to keep him from having to kill since he’s still a child. It seems like Nanami isn’t just coming to Yuji’s physical rescue, but also saving his heart, at least for now. But I could be seeing more there than is intended because Nanami’s my favorite character, and it’s been a while since I’ve seen the show so I don’t remember everything.

The line "it came from so deep in my gut that it made everything else I've ever said feel like a lie" is tragic when contrasted to his conversation with Junpei about what killing would do to him. A good bit of writing that.

Hm I don’t think so but remember both would have to agree and it would have to be beneficial for both but honestly I think you can chalk it up to sukuna already having a pact and not needing another also he hates Yuji so whatever chance he gets to screw with him he will so letting junpei die and watching Yuji hurt was very much entertainment for him. They talk more about binding vows and stuff so don’t worry I’m sure you guys will understand better when they explain more.

Can they only have one pact with each other? Still trying to understand the technicalities!

Haylo

Season 2 sickkk can’t wait for it

Zain kb

No remember sukuna already has a pact with Yuji lol nobody else knows about this so they always think having sukuna form a pact is what he wants. Yuji is able to hit mahito soul because as he puts it Yuji basically understands his own soul from having sukuna inside of him and having to constantly keep him at bay…seems Yuji soul is just that strong to do that to the king of curses lol

Yall catch onto things so much faster than I did hahah. I think it’s adorable you called Nanami Papa. In the fandom some people call him Papamin for the same reasons you did. So you’re not alone on that one! Love watching yall ❤️

Please show more often JJK :(

Rawdota

JJK just casually shows Junpei in the intro tricking us into believing we'd see him with our team :( Sukuna is no joke and I love how he reminds Mahito that he's not even on the same level and that he truly is a king of curses. This ep hits hard and I'm so glad you guys are enjoying it

Cation

“To you, someday” gave ALL of us ptsd flashbacks lmaoo

I alone am the the bitchless one

lets goooo, these last 2 episodes are pure cinema🕺 rip junpei the biggest bait on anime😭 lol i love what they did with yujis character there, in ep 9 he say he'd probably not want to kill but has now been put in a situation where he throws that out the window. jjk is really good at showing the layers of humanity, malice (curses), kindness (itadori) duty (nanami, gojo) self-seeking (megumi, nobara) and how a single switch on a situation can make us change, just like with itadori rn, the "i will kill you" scene was so cool. it's inevitable to like villains in jjk too😭 i also hate mahito but he's so cool lmao, i'm so excited for the next episode! it's the last time you're gonna get the same opening and ending too, that's the only sad part cause the next arc is crazyyy

beannieswife

Man I forgot how cool that fight was

Nanami my beloved ❤️

Joshspice

junpei's transfiguration was sad.. but he also made him look like a wonky muppet so i couldnt help but chuckle a bit when i first saw it

aydin sofian

Junpeis transfiguration broke me almost in my first time view... I was not ok 😅

Calogero Gaetani

If they think this is dark I can't wait for the movie and season 2 lol, they're gonna be traumatised.
