Its nothing new and doesnt try to be anything more than it really is, an action shonen show. All the typical sad backstory, overly emphasized relationships, stareoff, grand speech etc.., are just glossed over. It just there to give you what people realy like about shonen One of the best and consistant power system, genius fight choregraphy and matchups AND jumping motherfckers. The great jump kaisen
