I forgot But i think this was their archaic ranking system, Due to never actually killing a moon or never fighting them The previous hashira just retired or died fighting because they were just putting numbers in. the one they have now are the cream of the crop, the master himself said it. Their requirement seems to have changed. Their apprentice goes through different types of training

2024-06-11 17:08:36 +0000 UTCHe at this point should be because of all the regular demons he killed, if I remember correctly. In the Manga you have to either kill 50 non moon demons or 1 moon demon by yourself to become a hashira. They have not discussed this in the show

2024-06-11 08:43:22 +0000 UTCAre we all gonna brush over the fact that tokito is 14, and became a hashira 2 months after grabbing a sword? He is 2 years younger than tanjiro, who trained for 2.5 years, fought 2 upper ranks , 2 lowermoons and countless other fights. And he is still not hashira
