So just in case you didn't realize this yourself: Eldia is inspired by Germany here (the names, the architecture, etc.), while Hizuru is obviously Japan ("Shogun", the names) and just like Eldia and Hizuru, Germany and Japan were allied in a great war that they lost (WWII). It's not very subtle, so you probably didn't need to be told, but it's pretty noteworthy imo, so I'd like to make sure you know.

I remember when I used to watch things on Youtube and have to wait a while per episode, for many reactors, and then i'd go to their patreon and be like OMAGERD they're 15 episodes ahead $$$ WOOOO.... andddddd a few hours later i'd be all caught up to their patreon and be no different to how it felt like in youtube LOL.. but i'd rather get 1 episode at a time and have these beautiful smart lovely ladies dissect the loving crap out of AoT for example, than to rush through it and miss key pieces simply for the sake of following a trend or to appease the casual audience, u know?

Completely unrelated but your wall pattern "pictures" of marble and gold are the exact same pattern and color for my guest room bed covers + some of my guest cutlery is also the same pattern. I done that. I started rewatching the series about the same time they started reacting so I've just been doing them in roughly quarte to half season long binges. I watched from S4 E1 to S4 E10, then I'll probably wait until episode 21 to catch up again since that's a sort of another arc.

The great titan war was a civil war that occured around 100 years ago, and that war led to King Fritz' departure, with millions of eldians, to Paradis island... creating the walls and the lifestyle that we knew since the beginning of the show... the Hizuru clan (Azumabito), were royals of another country, close to the king. They were also compromised after that titan war (I can speculate without being 100% sure that the "defeat" of king Fritz caused that, probably due to their proximity with him, but Idk)... they were able to visit the king as they wished on the island, and one of their members stayed there, which is Mikasa's ancestor...

I think what Hange meant was something like this - "We, as the Scouts, decided that we weren't gonna follow Zeke's plan, which involved passing down the Founding Titan and a Titan with Royal Blood, and that we were going to look for alternative solutions. Because we didn't want to sacrifice Historia, and our descendants' futures. Then why, Eren, are you giving up on finding alternative solutions, and forcing our hand to follow Zeke's plan, and in effect, 'sacrificing Historia?'" That's why we got the flashbacks where Eren said no to Zeke's plan, and then vocalized that he doesn't want any one of his friends to inherit Titans.
