2024-04-13 22:48:38 +0000 UTCI remember thinking all the way back when Buntaro "died" that it seemed purposefully shot to showcase him running behind buildings and not getting killed outright. I've watched too many things to know that if you don't see them dead dead, the chances are they're still alive. I really felt for Mariko and John this episode, the differences of their cultures and lives severing what little connection they'd made was painful to watch. Absolutely fell in love with Mariko this episode, what a great character.
