English was translated slightly differently because Japanese can be very contextual and they probably didn't know this wordplay would tie in later. Either way, for the Japanese audience this was the big moment where the name of the series gets dropped in the series XD

Especially when it came to Dina, Dina herself was like an attack vector! Kruger didn’t let her become a titan out of fear for her, but for what would happen if Marley had an endless supply of royal blood. It was for the welfare of humanity, or at least that's what Kruger thought. It’s up to our personal perspectives to decide if what he did was right or wrong.

How immensely interesting it is esp going forward.🙏 Also, my comment was *specifically* regarding this episode/reaction as well as what was said. They are still on the aot journey☺️ so…obviously (only from this episode) is when NOW they understand WHY it’s called Shingeki Kyojin. I’m merely noting that The Attack Titan being so special *(as we all know it is to be so)* is symbolic as well due to the nature of their inheritors.👌 And that the show is very deep

And while it is a fictional world, it's very clearly modeled after our past societies in Europe. If there are differences we are usually told or shown (titans, walls, etc.). So imo, there is no reason to assume that their societies treat homosexuality any different than we did in our past.

I guess he must have just misunderstood the english at the time, which is unfortunate because it really is an awesome play on the title that is lost to most english audiences.

I understand people treat life and having children as a big thing in the show, but to my knowledge there's nothing stating anybody's against it. Just a thought, I guess. That marriage quote was just Ymir confessing her love Ymir-style, with a joke (since same sex marriage doesn't seem to be anything close to realistic there).

Although, this has been somewhat debated, it's mostly accepted by the community. Just a little love story that breaks my heart.

So all along the name of the show was Erens titan name, unfortunately in English they decided to translate the show name to attack on titan instead of just attack titan (probably because they didn’t know at the time that it was meant to Erens titan name)

There was too much change in too little time, which alienated me from the show and actually made me put the manga down. I loved the little cozy world we had and the mystery of what's outside of it, and I wasn't ready to leave yet, combined with not being too happy with what I was leaving it for... It took years before I picked the story up again by binging the Anime start to finish in less than three weeks - and LOVING it. You deserve the credit for that, since it was your first reaction videos that got me back into it, so thx! 🙏

He's had that fight/convinction since before he even ate his dad!😂 Like Grisha & Eren Kruger. I find it intriguing to ponder on...like is it Fate? Mere coincidence that that paticular Titan seems to be particularly inheherited by those specific people?😭 As Big Eren said, whatever era The Attack Titan "finds itself in", it always chases freedom *specifically* - compared to any other Titan. Cause I had a thought like yes, all the other intelligent Titans each have powers catered to them & whatnot; BUT they don't seem to have a GOAL or intense DRIVE the way the Attack (& you would also say the Founding) Titan seemingly have. All those missing puzzle pieces in the broad picture that seem to never get answered are now falling into place and it's only a matter of time before we start getting whole images that can paint the whole story together. The story of AoT is already told from the very start, and all the pieces are there, but if you don't get told what the puzzle you're building is, it's hard to get started. You've just been told what the puzzle is.
