Feeling sympathy for Reiner and Bertholdt and Annie is how you should feel. The show continues to make it clearer and clearer that it's definitely not all black and white, there's so much grey it's hard to even know where the black and white begin and end.

There's a LOT of things to talk about, from the interesting guess on Haylee to think they might be talking about coffee or something so "normal" to us the viewers as if it's an unknown concept to them, a weird tea, to armin hesitating to "ask awkwardly" for soldiers to do somethingat first and then doubling down the next time and TELLING them with affirmative command on what to do after gaining the courage that erwin entrusted TO him, to the imagery of erwin standing on a pile of corpses and facing imposter syndrome of "i lead everyone here to know the truth... all their lives to reach my own dream and my own goals... was it worth it? Will this truth about our world in the basement be worth all of this?" But can we just take a second to remember Kiss yelling "DID HE EAT YMIR?" out of nowhere, followed by haylee's cutest possible "stop. stop what you're saying.", like ...i couldnt tell if she was trying to ground her sister OR if she's begging her to not let her own thoughts drift :P hahahaha

do you by any chance hace a chrome extension for volume increasing and/or dark reader? if so. disable them, clear the cache and then try again. I faced a similar issue once when i was on Carlie and Ange's patreon and turns out it was my extensions acting up. Try a clean browser if you have to and see if it makes a difference, if it does, then that's where i'd look into next.

Yo shoutouts to you guys for giving Reiner the benefit of the doubt. He was a friend to them for a long time, and seeing him afraid there at the end is tough considering we still don't really know why he's compelled to be a warrior. I of course won't tell you why, but he might be my favorite character after all is said and done. Jean is up there too, he's come a long way from when we met him. And just so that doesn't sway you in any direction - I love characters that are good, bad, and morally varied or ambiguous so long they are written well.
