Long before we get our beloved Eren, Mikasa, and Armin there was Levi, Isabel, and Furlan. Levi's loss of those two are about the same level as Eren losing his mother. My heart hurts for them all.

Hey I'd recommend also watching OVA 6 & 7 episode (they're connected) since they shed a lot of light on a particular girl just before the Female Titan episode on season 1.

It's cool to see how Levi is influenced by Erwin in his leadership. Like in the part 1 when Erwin first captures Levi and is asking him to join the Scouts, Erwin gets down in the muddy water at Levi's level. Not standing above him and being demeaning. Getting into the mud and asking him, man to man.

I just knew you guys would appreciate this one and understand how it shaped Levi into the person he is now. It is depressing but so necessary because I was the same way, I liked him before but after watching this he skyrocketed up to one of my favorites. The idea of him and Erwin being enemies, of Levi actually being sent to kill Erwin…IT’S SO GENIUS. Just gives their current friendship so much more meaning, right? Also you guys got to meet the gorgeous Titan. 😂 He’s a legend among us haha. I truly enjoyed watching this with you! Can’t wait for season 2!

Just my interpretation but Isballe & Furlan probably died because of lack of gas, which makes this even more tragic... :') So with ending the Season 1 stuff, you guys need to give us your top 5 characters (so far!). Would really love to know (and why do I think Pixis is part of the top 5 lmao) btw the OST that played a lot (which was german) is called "So ist es immer"- very beautiful, the full song has a mix of german and english.
