Personally I've been a fan of this series since 2013 and I never watched No Regrets until right before the finale last year bc I simply wasn't interested in anything not written by Isayama. (And I can think of one instance one of the funny OVA's gets directly referenced in season 3)

2024-01-19 17:40:42 +0000 UTCHmm i disagree with the "All considered cannon" at least from the general conesus i read online over the past years that people only consider Isle's notebook as cannon with No regrets as pretty much cannon. The showing of the other OVA's (not including No Regrets) were to promote sales during the 4 year break.

2024-01-19 17:30:09 +0000 UTCOut of all the OVA's this is the only one adapted from a story that was written by the series' author Isayama. I believe he was a consultant on the others--and they're all considered canon--but Ilse's Notebook is actually included in the Manga as "Chapter 18.5" in between the Trost and Female Titan arcs
