Bruh, the foreshadowing in this series, from the very first scene of the series, is insane! I wish I had the time to rewatch the whole series episode by episode and record every instance of foreshadowing and how they tie into later moments of it to the very end.

Its so cool watching this over with you guys and just picking up on the little things. Try to remember the words Armin told Eren that he had to be willing to give up his humanity to save them. Those words hold so much weight. Can't wait for season 2!

"oh you sweet innocent summer child...ren", you have no idea how bad the "to be continued" TRULY get... not a spoiler but there's even a to be continued somewhere in season 3 that has a post-credit scene that happens before it... and at first you'd go like "wait, what is this post credit scene??? and then the to be continued kicks in and somehow that feels even even worse and you'd want to punch your monitor or run away from it out of eerieness... ANDDDDD.... that's not even the worst to come still. So you know... this is still the "nostalgic fun times" part of the show xD Enjoy the ride haha, that's all i'll say about this for now.

Just to point out there is bit of difference between some events in this episode of the anime and the manga. First, the tunnel didn't collapse on Eren in the manga, when Mikasa was leaving the tunnel, Eren was worried for both Armin & Mikasa. Mikasa said "What else can we do?" "The world is a cruel place." right after she left, Eren replied in anger "yeah it is." and he bite again his hand and turn into the titan, crashed the tunnel wide open right from underneath the female titan and send her away with a hook (punch) that made her landed on the top of the 'Church'. So, there was no plan C by Hange, Mikasa and the female Titan didn't fight 1-on-1 like we have seen in the anime. Also Jean and Armin didn't check on Eren when the tunnel collapsed and give him the 'talk'.

I find that a lot of "spoilers" that are in the openings and credits don't make sense until they are shown in the show. So it's impossible to know what is just symbolism and what is actual story content

Imagine watching this weekly when it came out. Every cliffhanger met with the agonising 7 day wait for the next 20 minutes that would inevitably lead to another cliffhanger. Also it would've been amazing to see Erwin just Matrix Neo all the bullets but alas AOT is a depressing grounded world with mighty morphin titans and steampunk spidermen.
