The first animation art style to me is charming, nostalgic and feels very close to my heart especially with the 90s type anime aesthetic, but that one never comes back. You're seeing that one right now since it's the beginning and witnessing an important piece of animation history 😭

I can get you a link to the page that lets you know the order to watch them as well as when to watch them based on what episode you're on in the anime. Lots of mentioned characters from the anime are shown in the movies and vice versa so I recommend watching them.

2024-01-11 00:05:08 +0000 UTCYes, actual scenes and locations from the show (and they look a bit different sometimes because the beginning of the anime has a bit of a rougher style and it gets more refined after a while). It's gone on for a long time so part of it is also just animation techniques becoming more crisp and "new-looking". Would love for you guys to just keep watching the anime because there's A LOT to enjoy (even if you skip fillers).

One Piece has one of the greatest stories set within undoubtedly the greatest world building narrative ever created. It's hard to believe that it's all out of the head one person.

Then again, as far as spoilers go this isn't too bad. Enjoy
