And hey, finally I've got a reason to rewatch the anime from the beginning! Yes the LA has softened some of the characters and situations, also made them less goofier (goofiness is one of the pillars of OP), just imagine Luffy's actor laughing his ass off left and right lol. But LA is cool anyway, I liked it even as an initial sceptic before the premiere. It's obviously produced by the fans, unlike umm... The Witcher XD

2024-01-10 17:41:26 +0000 UTCYeah I highly doubt we are stopping after Arlong Park π. It's going to be way too hard after you get so much more emotion, depth, bonding, and action out of the anime. It's just a whole other level that the live action is doing a pretty good job of adapting. Arlong Park is the biggest set of changes and the difference in quality is the biggest for that arc.
