I think you guys should stick with the anime and watch it until the new season of the live action comes out, switch the the live action and keep switching in between. I say this because the live action is doing some things differently so you are not necessarily spoiling yourself. This way you can have a constant stream of OP until you are caught up in the anime.

I do hope y'all watch the anime, even if it's just up to where the live action is. I have so many thoughts, but I'll stop and just agree. This is show of the year easily!

I have watched over 600 hundred episodes and always wish that the anime would move faster. If you want to reduce the watching time but still not miss anything, this website is the answer. But I don't know how much sense it makes to just watch the episodes that were seen in the live action because the anime has some small differences from the live action. But that's just my view of things and how I perceived both series. For me as a One Piece fan who has been watching the anime since childhood, they were two different adventures from the same story and both were really great. I think you should watch the episodes of the anime up to the live action and then decide how you will handle it. But no matter what you decide, I'm really looking forward to your reactions to it

It's pretty much spoiler free and you get a good feel of the One Piece world. The world is huge, compared to earth it's more of the size of the sun.

Although the episode count can seem daunting, it goes by very quickly and easy to binge through multiple episodes in a single sitting. It will be fun to see your reaction to to the differences and similarities.

2023-12-08 19:57:06 +0000 UTCAfter looking at the One Piece anime Episode/ Arc list they seem to be doing a ratio of 7-10 Anime episodes to 2 Live action. Granted the cut a few things out which is fine. I imagine there will be ten seasons and around 100 episodes to get to where the anime is now. If they even decide to do it up until the end. Which interesting because they can do SEVERAL major arcs per season as opposed to how they did it this season with Arlong Park capping it off as the big arc.

The character teased at the end is Vice Admiral Smoker. I won't say anything more than he is a major pursuer of the Straw Hats. I think you will really love the future crew additions. The character development and backstories are top notch.
