Our Next Show?

It's about that time where we'll need to choose the next show to watch after the One Piece Live Action! We haven't seen any of these options, and we really don't know what to expect for each of them. Our Star Wars background is that we have seen all the og movies and new trilogy, Rogue One, and we've both watched the Mandalorian but other than that, we haven't seen any of the recent releases. (Is there anything else we need to see before Andor?) We plan to get to all of the shows that are in our polls at some point. It's just a matter of when!

It get's a lot of hate for some reason.. The only criticism I have of the show is the pacing is a little weird. First episode: slow, second episode: fast, third and forth episode: slow... and so on

2023-11-20 12:48:55 +0000 UTCI have watched good amount, including Chernobyl, Breaking Bad, Prison Break, Heroes, Scorpion, White Collar, Suits, GoT, Sherlock, Better Call Saul, Dr House, and almost all comedy series. These are only those which came to my head right away, and include every other pop culture show too. After all that I am telling them to watch Grand Tour, or Death Note. Because being American they would have watched a ton of them already through usual TV channels. I am not acting when I am telling you that Anime have way better story telling than even 9-9.5 rated shows in US.

I suggest "Invincible" as part of the animated option.. season one has only 8 episodes and its currently on season 2 episode 3 on amazon( so you can't binge, you gotta wait till the next episode drops) the first episode will leave your jaw on the floor.

2023-11-20 08:47:34 +0000 UTCLol what? You clearly haven't watch many "Hollywood series" or any at all. Mr Robot, Breaking Bad, Devs, Barry, Chernobyl are some great examples of great story telling. If you just like anime that's cool and all, but let's not act like there aren't great shows outside the anime world.

2023-11-20 04:13:02 +0000 UTCoption 4? :( The Boys is just vulgar and gory, I dont know if you will like it, but The Grand Tour is also a good show. Its just utterly hilarious. It would be good if you pick something in anime, because Hollywood Series do not have such depth in stories or mysteries etc. Also, please do double episodes of AOT as DS, they are 20 mins each only.
