Sorry for disappearing guys, I became so sick due to a mosquito bite that I had to be in bed most of the time, however, even if I'm a little tired I feel more than ready to write something!

Chapter #8: Trusting.

The door was opened and Harry Charly Hermione and Victoire couldn't believe what they were seeing considering that it was so difficult for them to access this area, even though they were focused on trying to search for their surroundings that didn't mean they weren't amazed by what they were seeing, they couldn't help but think about the experience with the with cactus they licked as the place is still looked kind of trippy.

"Guys be careful," someone said behind them and soon, they were surprised to see Lucero it seemed like she was coming along with them because suddenly the door was sealed once she stepped into the area.

"Lucero, what are you doing here?" Asked Harry kind of confused but not angry.

"Oh I was just hoping that you wouldn't mind me here after all this is a dangerous place for most people, so, grandma told me to come to help you guys, this will also allow me to get some experience or so she says," the Mexican witch said with a casual tone.

Harry and his friends were taken aback by the young woman's attitude however they were also happy because thanks to her they wouldn't have to do this blindly, this place was interesting but they had no idea what to do. In front of them, it seemed like there was nothing more than trees, mountains, and a purple sky which is a thing that surprised them the most.

Still, even if most people were happy with Lucero coming along with them there was one person who didn't look that happy that person was Victoire and it made sense for her to act like that after all she had noticed that since the party, the Mexican witch hasn't stopped looking at Harry and she thought that the older man was being either too nice or too oblivious to break her heart because he paid little to no attention to the Mexican witch.

"I don't know why she has to come with us," Victoire couldn't help but say with a not-so-happy expression.

However, soon her thoughts were interrupted because she did something very reckless, she suddenly entered the unknown grounds and something was triggered the moment she stepped into the place something that caused everyone to flinch it was a very eerie sensation, and to say it made them feel confused would be the understatement of the century, still, they were trying to figure out what was going on, even Lucero was a bit worried.

"Lucero, what's happening here?" Asked Charlie while the Mexican witch remained in silence for a few moments as she collected her thoughts

Lucero suddenly put a finger on her lips to tell them to not speak or say anything while she analyzed the situation, she continued like that for a few moments but then, she felt relieved after things remained calm.

"You know...I've been in this place so many times and yet I can't help but feel amazed and scared every time I come here because as far as I know all the levels in this lost place are randomly generated, I don't know what to expect in this level but the thing that I know is that we need to complete a certain puzzle to reach the next level, now the difficult thing will be to find out what the puzzle is..." Lucero was a bit nervous.

"Shall we get worried then? If you are the expert and you don't know what should we do we're pretty much fucked, right?" It was obvious that Victoire wasn't fond of the Latina, Hermione, Charlie, and Harry just rolled their eyes

"Come on Vicky let's not be too harsh on her I mean this situation it's not her fault, we’re the ones who asked to be here, attacking each other won't help us at all," clearly Hermione was starting to get annoyed due to her niece's antiques, she knew of the crush Vicky had for her best friend but this was no time to act like this.

"So, now that we're finished, I guess I should expand myself on the previous explanation..." Lucero couldn't help but sigh. "You see, this place has been enchanted I don't by who nor why but the thing here is that we need to focus on what we're looking for, as far as I know from the stories my grandpa told me as he taught me how to navigate this place, a lot of people lose themselves and become greedy and when you lose your focus, you end up getting lost, and this place loves to punish those without a clear mind," Lucero added and Harry and the rest couldn't help but gulp.

"So, as far as we focus on finding Bill we're safe?" Harry with his Auror logic tried to resume this difficult situation as much as he could.

"Yes, more or less it's like that," the Mexican woman couldn't help but smile at the older man's words.

Victoire tried to remain as calm as possible, she tried to rationalize this situation, her family was right, there was no better person to guide them through this, she needed to focus and remember why she was here, she needed to grow up and think about her father, think about rescuing him, he's going to be so proud of her when he gets to know that she rescued him.

"Miss Lucero...I want to apologize for my behavior, it's just that...I'm a veela, and we're emotional creatures, especially when we reach adulthood, I know I don't deserve it but I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me," the blonde couldn't help but say with a nervous tone, she was afraid the Mexican witch would reject her.

However, she was surprised the moment Lucero just smiled at her and nodded, it seemed like she was satisfied with her behavior and she couldn't help but feel a little nervous at her stare, she could feel the cold look in her eyes behind her cheerful expression, it was like she was used to seeing terrifying things in her life.

"It's okay Victoire, can I call you Vicky?" Asked the Latina and Victoire nodded. "You see, no matter how we feel right towards each other at the moment, I can't blame you for acting like that due to the way you're feeling because I feel the same, however, in this place we need to keep ourselves calm, so, I accept your apologies," Lucero finally said and Vicky felt relieved.

The last thing she wanted was to cause tension amongst them, Harry, Hermione, and Charlie were proud of the blonde's change of mentality, this was a very dangerous situation and they needed to be on alert.

"So, now that we've fixed our differences...What should we do now Lucero?" Asked Charlie with a raised brow.

The Mexican witch remained in silence for a few moments, she raised her hand to stop all of them, she needed a moment to take a look, she was a little worried, the first level is supposed to be the easiest and most difficult one at the same time, things get more difficult with each new level, so, if they couldn't solve this one it's going to be impossible to conquer this place.

"I'm afraid to say I have no idea but-" Lucero couldn't continue because suddenly the place started to shake, it was as if an earthquake was about to hit the place.

All of them got their wands ready to attack whatever thing might come their way, however, what happened next was even more surprising, it was a door, a golden door.

"Congratulations on passing the first test...The trust test, go ahead to the next level," said a voice coming from the sky.

Lucero couldn't help but smile while the rest were confused, but in the end, she was proved right, the first test was the hardest and the easiest one but they managed to solve it.
