Harry arrived at Malfoy’s manor, he was in search of Cissa, he was looking everywhere but the house was just too big, luckily, he found a house elf who was a bit reluctant to tell him where Narcissa was but after a bit of hesitation and some nice words from Harry, the creature finally gave him the information he needed.

He ran as fast as he could, he was worried, what Draco told him made him feel a bit scared that Narcissa could do something crazy, and it’s not like he was in love with her but if what Malfoy said was the truth that she was carrying his baby, he couldn't let her destroy her life if that was the case or at least he couldn’t let her until the baby is born.

He finally reached the room where Voldemort used to hold his special meetings, this was the room where he was brought for the first time, there was a throne but there was also something close to the throne, there was some kind of hole in the floor and there he could see Narcissa hugging the body of her dead son.

“Fuck, this is…” Harry muttered to himself. “Cissa!” Harry said completely worried at the scene in front of him.

“No, let me go…I can still save him!” Narcissa said as Harry tried to grab her so she could let go of Draco’s body.

He was gone, and judging by the color of his skin it looked like he had been dead for some time, Harry felt so conflicted about this because he knew that there was nothing he could do, not even someone with the deathly hallows was able to help someone come back to life.

“He’s gone Cissa…” Harry told her and his words made her feel like her life was drained.

Then came the realization, she suddenly realized that Harry was right, no matter who she and her family were, no matter how much she tried to avoid the reality, the truth was that her son was gone and nothing was going to bring him back, his father was dead too but she didn’t care about him, she hated Lucius right now, if it weren’t for him her son wouldn’t have been involved in this mess and he wouldn’t be dead.

“I’m sorry,” Harry said as he embraced her and it didn’t take too long for her to sob like crazy.

Even if the woman meant nothing to him, he couldn’t stop himself from embracing her harder and comforting her, he wasn’t used to this much physical contact, but this was no time to think about himself, the woman clearly needed someone by her side and he had to be there, he had to know if she was pregnant or not before he gets to work.

After some minutes and after Narcissa calmed down a little, Harry decided to call someone using the patronus, the older woman didn’t notice that until someone entered the room.

“Wotcher Harry I—” It was Tonks and her eyes suddenly widened at the sight. “Blimey Harry…I know you didn’t like them but you didn’t have to kill them!” Tonks was shocked by the scene.

“It wasn’t me Tonks…” Harry said with a neutral expression.

Soon, he told everything he knew to Tonks, but the most important witness had yet to speak, she was still shocked, so, they decided to move to another room before Tonks called for more of her colleagues to investigate this situation.

“He killed them…You-know-who…” Narcissa started with a shaky tone. “He was going to kill us because we have failed at everything he has been ordering us to do, he promised me that if I could bring Harry Potter to him then he was going to spare them and let us go but he had them trapped all this time, I guess he didn’t expect me to succeed because it seems like he killed them off too early,” Narcissa started to sob and Harry was holding her once again.

They remained in that position for a while, Tonks was a little surprised by their proximity but on the other hand, she knew about Harry’s final role and the infiltration of Malfoy’s manor, she wondered how the hell he managed to stay here without being killed but seeing the way he was acting with her aunt Narcissa clearly gave her an idea about what was going on here.

“He then gave me more and more missions instead of letting us go just like he promised at first, I guess that’s the moment where I should have gotten the idea that something very wrong was going on but how can you fight and argue against someone like him?” Narcissa felt hopeless at the time.

“Well, you don’t have to worry about that anymore Cissa…He’s gone forever, he’s not coming back, so, you can speak without being scared of him or his followers, ok?” Harry told her with a soft smile on his face.

She wanted to be happy because the monster was finally gone but she couldn’t because he had taken something from her, still, she decided to tell her disowned niece everything she knew about the dark lord and his followers, she said their names, locations, names of some of their victims and crimes they committed through the country in the magical and muggle world.

She was planning to end her life anyway so, at least she wanted to leave something to be remembered, she wanted the people who were responsible for her son's death to suffer, and she was going to make sure to give enough information so they would prosecute those people that have brought death and misery to her home and family, they’re the ones who killed them, of course, Voldemort pulled the trigger but they were as guilty as them.

“Thank you so much, Mrs. Black, the investigations are going to continue, so, we’re going to keep visiting you in case we need more information and in case we have updates,” Tonks said with a neutral tone.

This woman was her aunt and she didn’t know what to do or tell her, after all, they weren’t close and to say that the blonde woman and her mother hated each other would be the understatement of the century.

“I should get back to the crime scene if you excuse me…Harry,” the Auror nodded at the hero. “I know this is not the right time but…Thank you for finally getting rid of him,” Tonks couldn’t help but smile at the young man.

After all, there must be some hope even during the darkest moments of your life, and even after all the death and suffering that the death eaters have brought to this country, everyone seems to be hopeful about the path their country is going to take now.

After Tonks left the room, Harry decided to take Narcissa to another part of the house, he brought her to the balcony where less than twenty-four hours ago he made love to her.

“Narcissa I know you don’t love me and I don’t expect you to do it, after all, we’ve been together for such a short time even if we’ve been technically having an affair for almost a year, but if you need someone to rely on and someone to talk please don’t hesitate to reach out to me,” the young man told her with a soft smile as he caressed her cheek.

She was surprised that he managed to see behind that mask she put through to make him believe she was in love with him, it seemed like she had underestimated him.

“I don’t know what you’re planning to do now but before you make a decision, there’s something I want to do,” Harry suddenly pulled his wand.

Narcissa had to admit he looked intimidating with the way he was holding his wand but her eyes widened the moment he casted something similar to Lumos, but instead of lightning the place, it lighted her body and she knew what this spell was, the light on her body suddenly changed to a pink color and Harry couldn’t help but smile.

“Well, it seems like we did our part right at least…You’re pregnant,” Harry said with a soft expression.

To say that Narcissa was conflicted would be like saying that the sun shines.
