Whew what a journey this one has been. I originally started to work on this video back at the end of February whereupon I realised I needed a 2nd outfit for Mitsuki to match with Megmiria. That resulted in the Ring My Bell video for Mitsuki because I realised that finishing this video would take a lot longer due to various technical issues (lighting difficulties that work for both models simultaneously, 4times slower rendering speed than usual due to how heavy both of these models are individually, and much more) as well as the sheer amount of work to modify the motion for 2 models and each of their outfits. Since I try to keep to a somewhat regular release schedule, I've always been doing just a little work on this then focusing on a new video that I can complete in a reasonable time, since if I only finished this one I'd probably only release that video in the entire month.

So, for me it's been a lot of pain and suffering to finally get this through the door. But all that work means it must be the best video ever right? Well, no, honestly I've been working on this video so long now that I have no idea if it's really good at all or not anymore lol. It probably is, I removed nearly all of the issues I detected and I think it looks pretty good.. or wait, does it? After finishing doing the default and china versions and getting pretty decent looking stages for the background, I realised that the clocktower+blue spotlights stage just looks even cleaner than them. And so this is why for the first time there is a new set of videos called "ALT" which is where they have the blue spotlight background instead of the originally planned one.

While they do look cleaner, having the same background in every stage makes the costume transitions less impressive. So, long story short, please watch both the regular release and the main ALT version (e.g. "Megmiria, Mitsuki - Aipai Dance Hall 2K.mp4" and "Megmiria, Mitsuki - Aipai Dance Hall 2K (ALT Ver.).mp4" ) and let me know which one you think is better! Because I've worked on this video too long and can no longer view it objectively. I'm still trying to decide which of the 2 versions to release onto Youtube later on...

Relatedly, because of the ALT versions, this release has 23 different variants uploaded. Also because of the extra detail from the 2 models and stages and lighting, the file sizes needed to be a bit larger than usual to avoid visual degradation. So yeah, a stupidly huge amount of data is needed if you wanted to download everything (sorry about that).
