Harry couldn’t believe what he had just heard, the souls, the spheres with the souls were fake, and now he seemed like he had lost the will to live, it’s true that those people are out there in the world with the souls of his family and closed ones, so, at least their souls were still safe, but he knows that he doesn't have the strength to get them by himself.
The other option he has is to give himself to the death eater movement so they can revive their master, however, he knows that even though this would help to restore the lives of the people that he loves, he knows they’re not going to be happy about that decision, Harry knows that they’d prefer to stay like that or die rather than helping the dark lord come back to life which is what Harry was thinking about doing right now.
He was so shocked that he didn’t pay attention to the mess that was happening in the room after the murder of Bellatrix Lestrange, the culprit was running like crazy to avoid being captured by the many Aurors that were in the place, escaping from them seemed quite impossible.
The culprit managed to reach the door and get out, but soon the Aurors followed the killer and it didn’t take too long for the law enforcement to launch attacks on the infiltered killer who managed to escape and dodge many of the attacks, the person was using a lot of dirty tricks to avoid being captured, however, the Aurors and the staff weren’t too worried because they knew that the culprit was about to reach the end of the room and there were no other doors, there was no escape from there, or at least that’s what they thought.
“What the—” An auror said with his eyes wide open.
There was no sight of the culprit, they only saw the dark cloak the person was wearing but there was no sight of this person, they used many spells to try to detect if the person was using an invisibility cloak and they even attacked random places trying to make the culprit come out but the only thing they discovered was a fly that moved away from them to avoid being attacked.
The Aurors and the ministry staff were completely shocked, the attacker was gone, Bellatrix Lestrange was dead and the ministry had nothing to brag about to the press, the minister wasn’t happy…
“Harry…Harry…Harry!” Hermione tried to make the man she was so in love with answer her pleads but he was too shocked to say or do anything until...
“It’s useless Hermione…There’s no way they’re going to come back!” Harry said with a defeated tone and he was on the verge of tears.
Hermione wanted to tell him everything was going to be okay but she couldn’t bring herself to lie to him like that, after all, even if she was studious and probably knew most of the spells that had been invented throughout the history of magic, she knew that she stood no chance against a death eater.
“Bring him back to Potter Manor, Auror Tonks…I need to see what our friends found out about Lestrange's killer,” Moody said to the younger auror and she nodded.
“Come on Harry…Let’s get back home,” Tonks said with a sad tone.
It was hard for her to look positive, after all, her parents were some of the victims whose souls were captured, of course, Sirius, Remus, Harry’s family, and the rest of the order members were part of the mess and she felt bad for them too but the love she had for her parents was different than what she felt about those who were part of the order.
“Come on amour…Let’s get out of here,” Fleur now intervened and even if he didn’t have too much will to live, he decided to listen to them.
He shared one last look at the headless body of Bellatrix Lestrange, he was so angry, they’d played around with him, and he wanted to make them pay but he knew he didn’t have the strength to achieve that.
A few moments later…
It’s been more than ten minutes since they came back from the trial but Harry was still the same, he had an emotionless expression, he looked as if he had died and there was nothing that could resurrect him, he was gone and the three women in the room couldn’t blame him, he has lost his whole family and surprisingly, even if she was in the same situation as him, Nymphadora felt more angry than sad, she wanted vengeance.
“Fleur…Mione, stay here with Harry…I’m going to take care of something,” Tonks said with a cold tone as she grabbed her wand but she was quickly stopped by Fleur and Hermione.
“No, you can’t go!” Hermione said with a desperate tone.
“I know what you’re trying to do Nymphadora Tonks and I’m not going to let you do that…I know you want vengeance, Harry wants it too, we all want it but…If you leave like that they could manage to kill you too…And I think that would be worse than dying for Harry!” Fleur was on the verge of tears.
It was so strange how Fleur and Tonks used to be rivals but now thanks to Harry they seemed to have gotten closer. As for Hermione, she didn’t know the women too well, she knew about Fleur because even if Hermione didn’t pay too much attention to the Triwizard tournament in her fourth year, she knew there was a French champion with the same name, now, Hermione has a good memory when it comes to things she's interested with but the Triwizard tournament didn't catch her interest.
The French witch wasn’t what Hermione expected her to be, she wasn’t arrogant nor a jerk, she was very sweet indeed, and she loved to buy expensive things that was the truth but she was doing it with her own money and no one else’s, and Hermione couldn’t help but respect that, she was so amazed how Harry managed to make the three of them friends when they’re so different from the other.
“I’m sorry girls but I already took my decision…I’m going to hunt my cousin Draco and I’m going to get all the—” Nymphadora couldn’t finish because suddenly something fell from the ceiling onto a couch.
It was a blonde woman and she looked tired and lost.
“Aunt Narcissa?!” Asked Nymphadora as she pointed her wand against the blonde who could only let out a few tears escape from her eyes.
Meanwhile, in a dark room with many potions and cauldrons working, there was a man with dark hair and clothes and he was soon joined by a young blonde man.
“Draco…What are you doing here? Shouldn’t you be fleeing the country?” Asked the older man with an emotionless tone.
“Snape…She’s dead…Aunt Bellatrix is dead, someone killed her during the trial or at least that’s what our ministry spies say about Prototype number seven,” Draco said with a serious tone before he got rid of a blanket that was covering something in the potions lab.
It was revealed that the blanket was covering a huge crystal tank and inside, there was a figure that looked to be petrified but the figure had her eyes closed and the figure had the same looks as Bellatrix Lestrange.
“Well, I guess I better get ready to create another copy of the one that was named the perfect killing machine by the dark lord himself,” Snape said as he looked at the woman who was captured in the crystal tank. “Thank you for informing me, now go away,” Snape said with a cold tone.
“No, I won’t leave the country, not unless you give me the soul of Lily Potter…The woman I love,” Draco said with a threatening tone.
Snape couldn’t help but chuckle at the irony of the situation as he caressed the crystal with Lily’s soul that it was safely guarded inside one of the pockets of his cloak.
