Once Harry and Luna were left alone, they didn’t say anything and they remained like that for three days, not sharing a word and not even looking at each other for most of the time, they knew they had to survive and they only had one option, still, it seems like they were delaying it for as much as they could until the third day came.
“Harry…Please!” Luna begged as Harry held her neck.
“I’m sorry Luna but…I promise you this isn’t going to hurt you too much, I’m going to be quick,” he said in the calmest tone he could use.
But that didn’t stop Luna from being scared, and she was about to protest but Harry lifted her by her neck and it seemed like he was choking her and she tried to fight but little by little her life started to vanish and when Harry finally saw that she was dead something shocking happened, Luna’s body exploded which resulted in her blood being scattered everywhere including Harry himself.
“What the hell…It doesn’t matter how many times I see this…It’s still the same…What was that power?!” Bellatrix was angry, confused, and completely horny.
"We did the tests my lord, that red liquid is Luna Lovegood's blood," Rudolphus said angrily.
Voldemort and his inner circle were in the throne room and they were looking at the memory of what happened in a pensive, all of them were arguing and screaming at each other except for Voldemort and Harry, the young man was surprisingly sitting on the floor in front of the dark lord and he was chewing on some chicken but they never stopped looking into each other's eyes.
“That’s a very strong type of magic…It's a type of very ancient magic from the days our ancestors started to use magic…” Voldemort’s words surprised everyone. “It is taught that for you to be able to do magic correctly you need to be one in nature, well, in this case is the opposite, what you saw there was nature being one with our dear Harry Potter,” Voldemort didn’t know if he should feel jealous or enthusiastic.
Soon all the people started to whisper to each other, meanwhile, Harry had a smirk on his face as their reaction clearly meant that he managed to successfully fool them because this is what truly happened…
Harry and Luna had been finally thrown into the dungeon where they had to fight for their lives for a maximum of three days, after all, that’s the time it is expected for humans to survive without water, but regardless of all the logistics in this situation, there was one thing that was clear, only one person was going to walk out the door that was connected to some stairs, it was an improvised dungeon of course, that’s why it was so interesting how it was almost impossible to see from the door to this place as the dungeon was almost completely dark, and the best thing is that they had that useless wormtail guarding the door.
After Luna and Harry got locked together, the blonde was on the floor and she wanted to give up, so, she started to sob.
“Harry…Please, kill me, I can’t resist any longer here, save yourself and the world, you can just kill me if you want to,” the blonde said between sobs.
Harry didn’t say anything, he just grabbed a golden collar chain he was using and then threw it on the ground, he whispered something and suddenly, he started doing what looked to be wandless magic, and soon, the collar turned into a chest, it seems like that collar was actually a transfiguration of that chest not the opposite, it didn't take too long for Harry to open the chest.
“Luna, you’re not going to die, or at least you won’t until three days have passed by,” Harry said and soon he took a few items from the chest before he got it back to normal.
“Harry, that’s your wand…Water, sliced bread and what’s that weird thing with the image of beans?” Luna was a little confused.
“This is what we’re going to eat Luna, I know canned baked beans aren’t the most luxurious thing in the world but it will surely make you feel better,” Harry said with a soft smile.
Luna could only watch that even if Harry had his wand, the dark-haired wizard using wandless magic to levitate and turn the white bread into a toast before he placed some of the canned beans on it, then he searched for something else on the chest, it was tomatoes and it didn’t take too long for him to churn them too.
“I wish we could have some sausages, bacon, or even eggs but I can’t keep too much fresh food in there, sorry Luna,” the dark-haired wizard apologized but Luna didn’t mind at all, she grabbed a pair of toast and soon, she started to eat as if it were the most delicious thing in the world.
“Ah…This…This is amazing Harry, this is good,” she said now feeling less willing to die.
“Take your time to eat, we don’t want you to choke, also, take this,” Harry said as he handled her water in some kind of foreign transparent bottle, Harry was used to plastic bottles but Luna had no idea.
he showed her how to open the bottle and she couldn’t help but drink a good quantity of it, Harry could only smile after seeing her friend so enthusiastic about eating her food. After they finished eating, it was time to talk.
“Luna…I don’t want to ruin this moment, but I’m going to have to kill you before the three days end,” Harry’s words could shock anyone but Luna wasn’t any random person he knew.
“Okay,” she just said without any care in the world, if she needed to die for Harry to kill Voldemort, she was going to do it, besides, anything was better than being trapped here.
“Of course, I’m speaking metaphorically but I’ll explain to you once the day comes,” Harry said trying to not worry her he was just warning her.
“Harry…Why are you here?” Luna asked, she knew he was here for more than for love, she knew him too well.
“Luna, I can’t tell you the whole details but I came here to destroy two important items that the dark lord is completely obsessed about,” Harry explained to the blonde.
“Oh, just like the thing he hid in the castle…Well, one of the ghosts in the castle told me that he hid something there,” Luna said without giving it too much thought and those words made Harry’s eyes open wide.
“Luna…I’m going to get you out of here but I want you to do me a favor,” Harry said with a serious tone and she nodded without hesitation. “I want you to tell Hermione everything you told me, I’m going to send you with her and Ron,” Harry said and he didn’t give her more details.
Until the day finally came.
“Are you sure this is the right time?” Asked Luna a little concerned.
“Yes, I’ve been studying the patterns, at this time our coward guard is sleeping like a log, after all, they aren't expecting something to come to save us and I had this hidden under my sleeve in case I need it but if you disappear I won't have the need to use it,” Harry said with a calm tone. “Dobby!” He called and soon a house elf appeared.
“Harry Potter…What can Dobby do for you?” The house elf said in a tone full of servitude.
“Dobby, I want you to take my friend here with Hermione and Ron…Luna, please tell them everything we discussed about that item in Hogwarts, okay?” Harry asked the blonde who nodded before he used his wand to collect the blood tainted in her shirt. “I’m going to need this for something, take her with you Dobby, and thank you,” Harry said with a warm smile to the house elf.
“Thank you, Dobby,” Luna said too and the creature felt happy before he disappeared with the blonde.
Now that they were gone, Harry dropped the blood in a bottle full of what looked to be water but this wasn't water, it was a slime he suddenly enchanted. He closed the bottle as soon as he could and then the water turned completely red and the bottle exploded leaving no trace of its existence but the red liquid was scattered everywhere, it was so impressive how much of a mess a small enchantment could make, and that’s what caught the attention of the guard, that’s how Harry ended up as the winner of this survival game.
