“Well girls, I don’t know when I’ll you again but until then, I hope your businesses can still be as successful as they are now,” Andy said early in the morning, it was barely eight in the morning and he was ready to go.

After all, the trip he was about to make was going to take him at least half a day if he was lucky and if the traffic helped, luckily it wasn’t the weekend yet, so, he was hopeful the roads would be fine.

“Youngsters and their obsession with California, it may sound like a city of dreams but be careful, for there to be heaven there must be a hell too,” Amanda told him as she caressed his cheek. “Goodbye my dear Andy, we’ll stay in contact, and don’t hesitate to give me a call when you come back you can even stay at my home if you don’t have any place where to stay,” the black woman winked at him and he nodded, soon, they shared a kiss.

After the kiss ended, they parted ways and the woman got in her car, she needed to get to work, after all, this happened in the middle of the week, and only Andy could afford to do something like this during work days.

“I had lots of fun, Andy, I’m not going to wish you good luck because I know you’re talented and with your willpower that’s more than enough for you to succeed but if you feel lost, don’t hesitate to call me and I’ll save you, is that okay?” Yuuko asked as she moved some hairs from his forehead and he nodded before he was kissed by her, after the kiss ended, she did the same thing as Amanda.

“Andy…What a marvelous night I had, take this, you can have free food in any of the California franchises of my food chain!” Fiorella said before she gave him a special card from her restaurant before she slammed her lips on the younger man’s lips.

She was very fierce and passionate, just like you would expect from an Italian and she wasn’t satisfied with just a kiss, she caressed his ass and body as they kissed but once the kiss stopped she did the same time as Amanda and Yuuko, she was a very emotional person, she didn’t want Andy to see her crying.

“Andy…If what you’re saying is true about your musical career then I’m sure you’re going to need jewelry in the future, don’t hesitate to call me and we’ll work together, okay?” The last woman of the group, Audrey McDonald said and soon, they were sharing a soft kiss.

Andy was loving this, the woman was taller than he was which made things even better, he didn’t hesitate to touch her ass while they kissed, but sadly, all good things must come to an end, and this time, he was the one who stopped the kiss.

“Goodbye Audrey,” Andy said before he ran as fast as he could to get in his car.

If he didn’t do that then he was going to have doubts about this decision, he needed to do this now that he was motivated or else, he’d feel like he'll need to stay here.

“Well, that was fun, and I’m sure things are going to get better the moment they reveal to Anna what they did with me, this is going to be fun,” Andy knew he was evil.

He tried to be as faithful as he could with Anna even if they weren’t an item yet, and what happened? Well, she stabbed him in the back by listening to her family who barely gives a fuck about her unless they can use her. However, if that’s the life she wants, he wasn’t going to stop her or save her, he had so many things to look forward to and he didn’t want to waste any more time here, the moment he got away from this state, all those bittersweet memories will be gone too, so, it was time for him to go.

“Let’s go!” He said once he felt like the car was ready and soon, the long journey to California started.

This was the first time Andy was going to drive for more than a couple of hours, in fact, if his calculations were right and even taking into account possible delays due to traffic and maybe an accident or two, a car chase, and many other things that could happen in the road, he was predicted to arrive to his hotel in California before midnight.

“Goodbye for now…I’m sure I’ll come back once the world knows my name…Arizona,” Andy said with a hopeful tone.

He had nothing against the people or the history of this state, but he felt trapped here, he wanted to explore the world, travel around, and meet new people, and new cultures even within the country, and the only way to do that was becoming a world-class artist but for that, he knew he needed connections and those connections were sadly in California, he wasn’t moving there because he loved that state or something but because of the big musical scene there.

As hours went by on the road, Andy was realizing little by little the changes in the landscape but also how his motivation on the road was fading slowly, now he knew why his parents always traveled together, it helps to have someone to keep you entertained while you’re driving, luckily after four hours of driving, he felt the need to get something to eat and take a break.

So, he stopped in a truck-stop restaurant where he ordered three burgers with bacon, a big order of fries, and a milkshake made with chocolate ice cream. He was tempted to seduce the older waitress who nicely attended to him but it seemed like she was married to the chef, so, he just gave her a nice-sized tip for her good service and got ready to get on the way.

This time he was more motivated, he wanted to break his record of driving before getting hungry once again, so, he continued moving, if the GPS was right he still had at least nine hours left of driving, so, he kept going and around six in the evening, he couldn’t wait any longer, he was hungry and he needed to pee. The place where he ate clearly showed that he was getting closer and closer to California as the Mexican food in the place was good, they had authentic street tacos and due to their small size, he was sure he ate at least fifteen and he ate them with a glass soda.

There was no time like today, so, Andy got ready for the last section of his route, the only objective in his mind was to hurry and get there as soon as possible, he wanted to sleep in a good bed and take a cold shower, that’s what motivated him in the road, no one told him that traveling for so long could be this tiring, now he knew why his dad was always angry on trips, well more than he usually was.

The road seemed endless but finally, when he was close to 10:00 PM, he entered the state of California, he saw the sign and was relieved, just a little more and he was going to arrive at the hotel he booked, but even if he was motivated to arrive there, he couldn’t help but be amazed to be in a new city, even if it was part of the country, he felt so out of place and he was a little scared but motivated at the same time, he was ready to conquer the California music scene.
