“I’m ready,” Andy said as he stared at himself in a mirror of the bathroom of the room where he was staying.

He was dressed in a black suit, it seemed like he had been having trouble sleeping, and it made sense for him to be a nervous mess, today was probably the most important day of his life, this was the day where everything he believed in will be put through a test.

“Andy, are you ready?” Asked Roxy outside of the bathroom.

“Yes…I’m ready,” Andy confessed before he sighed and looked at himself for the last time in the mirror. “It’s time,” he said to himself before he fixed his red tie for the last time and soon, he was coming out of the bathroom.

Roxy was wearing dark high heels, a dark short tight skirt, and a white tight blouse that hugged her incredible milkers, Andy would be lying if he said he didn’t want to take her at that moment, but they had to hurry, so, he decided to save that for later.

“Let’s go,” he told her and she nodded and soon, they were being transported to a very important place.

They arrived at the place they were supposed to be and soon, they were swarmed by journalists, Andy, of course, he tried to answer all the questions that he could before he entered the court, he wasn’t going to waste too much time here, however, he soon was distracted the moment other people joined the place.

It was the Matthews family and they looked tired, they looked to be grieving, and it made sense for them to act like this, after all, their downfall was something no one could have predicted, it’s so ironic that such a famous family was brought down by a random dude like Andy, of course, he knew he had his powers but the irony is still valid.

To think that all this was caused because he asked a YouTuber with a failing career to allow her to make music with him and now she was dressed in a hoodie, she was hiding her face and it makes sense considering how much hate she has been receiving on all her socials, her videos don’t even reach one thousand views lately, she was so finished.

As for her mother, she looked like she was going to a funeral, well, her career died two weeks ago when his uncensored interview was released to the general public who saw through all the lies of the Matthews family. Her program was canceled and she probably won’t get any chance to work in a big network once again, not even her husband’s connections could help her right now.

As for the man, he had a serious expression and he was wearing military clothes, something weird considering he never went to the army, well, he made a campaign with the army to raise the interest in the younger people twenty years ago but it seems like he wants to appeal to the hearts of the patriotic Americans with this charade.

The man looks tired, and Andy can see the pain in his eyes, he has failed to protect his family, he failed as a father and as a husband, Andy couldn’t help but rejoice after seeing their current state, they were indeed done, however, the man is worth at least two hundred million dollars, so, they’re not going to have a hard life at all, they’re going to get forced to retire, though.

A few hours later…

“Raise, it’s time for the verdict… Has the jury reached a conclusion?” The older judge said to the women in the jury.

“After all the evidence has been presented, we concluded that Andrew Richards is not guilty of the charges he’s been accused of,” Andy was happy.

He already knew this was going to happen, not only because of the justice system but because he manipulated everything to get to this conclusion, he manipulated the women on the jury, the judge, and the American women through all the media coverage, interviews and all that, and this is the result of what he did with his powers, and he couldn’t be more satisfied even if he wanted to.

The reaction of the Matthews family was surprising, they weren’t happy nor sad, they were just standing there, they looked like they were already dead but they were forced to get back to life, he couldn’t help but send them a happy glare.

“With this concludes the case of the Matthews family versus Andrew Richards,” the judge slammed her hammer after saying that.

“Judge…We’d like to present a countersue to the claims of the Matthews family,” soon Roxy decided to intervene.

Andy and Roxy soon were approached by the legal team of the Matthews family.

“Judge…We’d like to speak privately with Mr. Richards and his legal representative,” one of the many lawyers on the Mathews family side said.

“No matter what you think, I’m not letting you—” Roxy tried to stop them but Andy decided to put a pause to her words.

“Let’s just hear what they have in mind Roxy,” Andy suggested and soon they were having a conversation with them.

The older woman wasn’t too happy about this but if her client wanted this, there was no other thing she could do than stand by his side while they listened to what the other legal team had to say.

“I’m going to be honest…We were expecting to be countersued, but we’re already prepared to defeat you,” the old lawyer who threatened Andy in his home said.

“You don’t scare us, we’re going to destroy you just like the first time,” Andy said with a confident tone and Roxy couldn’t help but see him in a different light, he was acting like the man of her dreams right now.

The lawyers didn’t say anything, but suddenly, one of the female lawyers, who was slender and tall and looked to be in her mid-forties suddenly handed Andy a card.

“What is this…Wait, two million dollars?” Asked Andy with a confused expression.

“Yes…Mr. Richards, my clients would like to make a deal with you, they’re tired, they just want to leave public life for some time and take care of their mental health…They still don’t believe you should’ve won but they’re not in the mood to go through this hell once again, you’ll receive that compensation if you accept the deal if you drop the charges against them,” a black lawyer told Roxy and her younger client.

“Sorry, but justice is the only thing—” Roxy couldn’t continue as Andy decided to put himself in front of her.

“I accept your deal,” Andy said as calmly as he could.

He couldn’t believe what just happened, he was willing to go through another trial just to make them suffer but he was tired too and he needed funding for his next adventure, Roxy told him to not expect too much money in the countersue, after all, she thought he would get maximum one hundred thousand dollars if he was lucky, that’s why hearing such quantity has made Andy accept the deal without thinking too much.

“Andy…What are you doing? Weren’t we supposed to do justice?” Asked the older woman in a low tone.

“Roxy…This is justice, I was already proven innocent and they’re going to lose part of their net worth, I know it’s not too much compared to what they have, but I’m sure they’re not happy about giving away a portion of it…This makes me happy, so, it means that this is justice Roxy,” Andy told her and soon he shared more words with the Matthews legal team.

As for Roxy, she was stunned, she felt disappointed by Andy, she thought she had found someone who shared her sense of justice but it seemed like she chose the wrong man…Once again.
