probably true. but I'm not caught up at ALL :D so I wouldn't really notice. also, we are talking just the first saga here, and I believe he is much further into the anime/manga than that. in any case, I enjoy having the dual perspective of someone who knows a lot about One Piece and someone who knows nothing ^^

I only wish he talked a bit more about the inevitable comparisons he must be making to the manga and the anime. I would love to know more about whether he thinks anything should have been added. also, I hear there are some slight changes to the anime towards the end of S01, so maybe you can discuss how it differs to the anime and manga? I don't plan on watching the anime but I like learning more about the characters ^^
