2024-01-21 21:20:20 +0000 UTCTo clarify the red card rule: yes, if you get a red, you're sent off AND your team loses that spot on the field, so you're down to 10 (and then if you get another from another player, you're down to 9, etc, until you get down to 7. A match can't continue when either side has fewer than 7). So you cannot sub in for a player who has received a red card. Which is why a lot of times, depending on the situation, if you have a player on the field with a yellow you might consider subbing him out late in the match to avoid him picking up a second yellow (because two yellows = a red).
