Summary: The secret is revealed, Harry and Rose have been secretly seeing each other, and Hermione decides to test Harry to know if he's the right man for her daughter.

Chapter #1: Hard to believe.

- So… This is why you two been avoiding me lately – The leader of magical Britain said to two persons in a room.

In front of her, there was a raven-haired man and a young woman, the man looked to be older, around the same age as the minister of magic, he was almost naked, and he was only wearing a pair of black tight boxers that highlighted the size he was packing on his crotch.

- Mom… Please, I can—Besides the older man, an eighteen-year-old red-haired woman dressed only in a set of black lingerie tried to explain herself but the older woman quickly raised her hand to stop her in her tracks.

And the younger woman quickly understood that she should be silent while they wait for the older woman’s scolding.

What will happen if you get pregnant? And your studies? – Hermione was bombarding her with very important questions and Rose didn’t back down.

- I’ve been careful to not get pregnant, and I will still continue my studies, thankfully Harry has been letting me stay here in his Diagon Alley apartment so I don’t have to apparate every morning to the ministry! – The younger woman smiled at the older man.

- If she somehow, gets pregnant… Well, I guess I’ll take care of her – Harry confessed before he moved to take Rose’s hand.

The young woman was clearly between heaven and hell right now, with her furious mother in front of her on the verge of making them stop this but at the same time feeling so hopeful about the future seeing the way Harry was treating her right now.

Rose doesn’t know when her crush on the older man started, but she has always been fascinated by him, the moment boys started to interest her, she knew one thing, she wasn’t interested in boys her age, she only had one person on his sights and that was the hero of the wizarding world, but that was obviously never meant to happen, or at least she thought it was never going to happen because, at the time her crush on Harry started, she was a minor.

So, Rose felt proud of herself for being in this position that not even her supermodel cousins managed to get into, she knew that once they reveal their relationship they were going to be so jealous of the little nerd of the family.

As for Harry, he tried his best to treat her like the daughter he never had, around the time of Ron’s death, he felt guilty and some of the Weasley family blamed him for Ron’s death, after all, they were partners in the Auror forces, that broke the relationship between the hero of the wizarding world and the Weasleys.

But luckily he still had the support of Hermione, both of them helping him to cope with the death of his best friend, with time Harry became closer and closer to Hermione and Rose, just a few months ago, they were celebrating Rose’s graduation from Hogwarts.

As for the story of how they got together, well, Rose just asked for a gift, and that was to live an adventure, so, Harry decided to make her wish come true, Hermione couldn’t come with them because of her duties as the minister of magic, so, Rose and Harry were the only ones on the involved on the trip, it was a month full of many adventures.

From snowy mountains filled with snowy creatures to mystical forests filled with fairies and elves, Harry had no problem moving around these places, after all, he had to take a survival special training, and Rose couldn’t help but feel hot at the sight of Harry showing his survival skills.

Rose remained silent for a few moments, Harry thought she might be sad because he rejected her, so, he decided to finally turn around to face her, and what he saw wasn’t the thing he was expecting.

Rose gulped, she knew that when her mother gets in this state it’ll be hard for them to calm her, but still, if Rose wanted to show her mother that this was the right decision she was taking, then she was going to need to convince her in a better way.

- Yes… You’re right about it mom… You’re not wrong about that… At first, our relationship was like that – Rose admitted and she felt bad seeing the look of disappointment her mother was giving her.

- Hermione… Please don’t blame her… I should have known better than to get more intimate with her – Harry once again tried to become the hero in this situation, he was used to this, he took the blame for many deaths in the last war, and he took the blame for Ron’s death and he was going to do it once again just to save Rose from her mother’s wrath.

He knew that their relationship was going to change forever, but he preferred to do that than ruin the relationship between mother and daughter, he would hate himself if Hermione and Rose fought because of his actions.

- Are you serious? Is that the truth Harry? – Harry was now Hermione’s target.

- Yes I caused all of this, I seduc—The older man tried to explain, but suddenly, Rose raised her voice.

Hermione’s disappointed expression changed for a more surprised one, it seems like Rose inherited that attitude from her, she couldn’t help but see herself in the younger witch.

The minister of magic remained in silence for a few moments, as she stared at the couple who were expectantly at what her next course of action was going to be.

- Well well… It seems like you think you’re ready to set yourself up for a life like this Rose – Hermione voiced out calmly.

Rose felt a little nervous but she didn’t back down, she didn’t regret her words, and she would hate if she cut her ties with her mother, but she was willing to do everything just to be with Harry.

- Harry – Hermione looked at her best friend – I love my daughter and I worry about what kind of man will end up with her… I fear that any man would seduce her with lies just to take advantage of her – Harry was about to defend himself from the accusations – So… I hope you don’t mind me putting you through a test to know if you’re worthy of dating my daughter – Hermione finally revealed her plan.

- Wait… A test!? – Rose was so confused right now as for Harry, well, he looked motivated.

- Hermione, I understand your worries… I accept to take your test! – He declared before he looked at the younger redhead and smiled at her.

Hermione smirked after she heard those words.

- Well then, let’s get started – Hermione suddenly surprised them with the next action.
